Mox can win and turn heel but cheating to beat Punk in Chicago. Or punk can win to please the hometown crowd and then eventually go heel and drop it to Kingston

Punk should win and BCC's Bryan should challenge him next. Please?

I would like them to use the story and make a top heel out of one of them. Both are capable, so love to see where it would go

Punk obviously.
But I hope Mox has a good follow-through. And I hope Punk is careful.

Definitely Punk. Really just not finding Moxley all that interesting right now and there's not really anywhere all that intriguing to go with him as champion other than a Danielson match.

Punk hasn't been able to do stuff as world champ. Moxley had a long run with it already.

Punk should probably win but boy am I rooting for Moxley. That dude exudes WORLD CHAMPION.

I like Moxley *much* more, but logically, it's Punk who should win.
Not so much as a whisper about alcohol in the match build, though, please. Like, we get it. We firmly do not need to go there.

I can't really see that coming up if only because narratively it really wouldn't make any sense, given when the Moxley thing first happened Punk was right there on Dynamite congratulating him for facing it and saying he was proud of him.

Yeah, it’s gotta be Punk. I adore Moxley and he’s been on a fantastic run and been great as Interim champ. But Punk really needs to win to firmly establish himself as Champ.

Or punk can win to please the hometown crowd and then eventually go heel and drop it to Kingston This is basically what I came to post. After that criminally short feud last year, Kingston needs to beat Punk for the title in New York, preferably Arthur Ashe. After that they can put the belt on oh, let's say Satnam Singh* for 2 years. I don't care. *Nothing against the big man. Dude is great for what he is at this point in his career.

I swear if Moxley wins the interest I have will crater even more into a giant massive crater that I might as well just live in.

I don't expect it to, either, just I know obviously it's not exactly a rarity in Punk feuds, albeit more historically than in AEW. Makes sense, I guess, given AEW actually has a decent number of straight-edge or close to it people on the roster, anyway.

I leaning toward CM Punk winning, if only so he can have a proper run with the championship.
With that said, I wouldn't be upset if Moxley won, but I don't think he needs to turn heel as he works best as a shades of gray, tweener, which is what I consider the entire Blackpool Combat Club. On the subject of Eddie Kingston, there seems to be a ground swell of online support for him to win the AEW World Heavyweight Championship, but I just don't see it happening as it just feels like he's never going to get past a certain level in AEW, and I just feel like MJF will be back at some point and be the one to dethrone CM Punk for the championship.

I'd go with Mox winning by cheating or some questionable finish. Setting up rematch at Arthur Ash with Punk winning that. They could do two huge match ups over the next 7 weeks between these two guys. After that they could do Punk vs Danielson or Omega at Full Gear or Revolution.

Punk wins a battle, they shake hands at the end as a sign of respect and then go their separate ways. That’s how it will go - Punk has so much in the tank as the top guy.

I assume the reason Jerchio won the Kingston feud and got the title shot was because they got word Punk would be ready by All Out and wanted to save Kingston's shot/feud for after. Yes, Punk to beat Moxley and Punk v Kingston afterward will pay a bit of homage to Bret v Austin at times.

Mox is actually the perfect opponent for Punk returning off an injury and surgery. Mox's style allows for a lot of brawling and smoke and mirrors to mask any rustiness Punk might have. He won't have to wrestle a clinic his first match back. A knock down drag out brutal brawl is perfect. Punk vs Mox: Chicago Street Fight is all I can picture for All Out.

It's gotta be Punk. He hasn't even had a chance to defend the title yet. Mox has done an incredible job keeping the belt warm for him, though.
