Wanted to make a thread on this. I was shocked last night when Mox got his shoulder up after the Judas Effect. It had been one of the most protected moves in all of wrestling. Props to Jericho, props to Mox, was an awesome moment.

Yeah, in that moment I instantly thought “not only is Jericho killing it but he put over Mox huge by letting him kick out that”. I didn’t really bite cause of the delay but I did wonder for a sec.

At that moment, I seriously wondered if Jericho is done in the ring, at least as a serious threat.
I doubt it, because I've thought that enough times in the past two years to be desensitized to it, but there's got to be a point where he switches to mostly or only managing (which he is demonstrably good at). Although, if he were to hang it up after that, what a match to go out on.

I liked the commentary speculating on how Mox was able to do that, like Jericho being so gassed from going all out that he wasn't able to execute the move at 100%. I think it added to the story the match was telling instead of when guys spam their finishers and kick out of them just for the spectacle.
