I remember the hype he got when WWE was signing him and dude looked like a beast (many calling him the next Brock Lesnar). Then he shows up in NXT looking like crack addicted skinhead and it was hard to believe he was the same guy. Even seeing him now it's like "that guy was Harland?!?"
A lot of potential.

I think his look is bad, although that might have to do with the Lesnar comparisons. Despite being tall and heavy, he somehow looks smallish. He doesn't move freakishly, he doesn't lift freakishly - so far he's just a guy trying to fit a mold.

He's got the potential to have a good look but he just kind of needs to find it. The skinhead look REALLY didn't work for him, but I can sort of see why he went that way because he does look marginally less like Brock without hair. That being said the hair is still more flattering, so really I'd just roll with the Brock comparisons because they're going to happen either way.
Maybe he can use Daivari's trust fund to buy some better-looking gear.
I will say though, look at Hobbs when he first started in AEW vs Hobbs now, there's definitely potential there now that he's going full time with AEW in terms of training and just getting a better look across the board.

Guy looks like his tattoo artist halfway decided, "OK, I quit." I used to think the Factory was the worst faction in AEW, but the Trustbusters have quickly surpassed them in awfulness.

Unfortunately if you are being compared to Brock Lesnar you can only come up short. Brock is a once-a-generation talent.

The Trustbusters are probably going to mostly be a ROH & DARK heel faction so that's why I assume they're picking him up. Give him some time working with some good coaching and who knows how he'll go, if he turns good then he won't be the first former NXT talent that looked far better in a different setting. I think his look is bad, although that might have to do with the Lesnar comparisons. Despite being tall and heavy, he somehow looks smallish. He doesn't move freakishly, he doesn't lift freakishly - so far he's just a guy trying to fit a mold. He has some explosiveness so that's a start.

He's got a sexy stripper name, so he has that going for him.

According to the man himself, he was told that was his look in WWE

I think fans should have patience with him, he has 8 months of experience as a wrestler so far.

Is it just me, or does Boudreaux's theme (which I guess is the Trustbusters' theme) sound like a Jane's Addiction cover band?
Anyway, guy hasn't impressed me at all thus far, but as was said he's got very little experience so he can easily grow into something good.

The Trustbusters seem like they'd be a C-list heel stable during the dying days of the Original ECW. And for some reason that makes me like them for how low budget they look.

I actually kind of like Parker so far, and I think the Trustbusters are entertaining ineffectual low card goofballs that will hopefully give Sonny Kiss something to do. This is the definition of a low risk, potentially high reward signing. Worst case scenario, he doesn’t pan out, and that’s already pretty much what everyone is expecting. Best case scenario, he reaches his apparently Lesnar-esque potential and AEW has a star on their hands.

If Satnam could improve so can Parker...

This is an interesting signing because WWE released him at a time when they were featuring a lot of green talent and he has a look they typically like. And during his time in NXT, they let him do very little in the ring. He reminded me of Nailz and not in a good way. But in his AEW squashes, he has been a lot more high impact. He clearly has some athleticism and power that could translate well to the ring. Given I doubt Tony broke the bank for him, it's a good signing for the future. Plus he'll only benefit from having someone like Ari and Slim J to work with as they're both veterans with a lot of experience.
