Are we just kind of speed-running shitting on things? He's been around for like 12 seconds, give it a moment. This is where I'm at, like people loathing The Factory or even AHFO I get, they've been around a long time for people to form an opinion... this group has definitely been fast tracked a bit because someone definitely loves them together be it Tony, otherwise, or both, but stuff needs time to grow and connect, Acclaimed or Gunn Club were loathed pretty early on too for one thing or another, and now it doesn't feel right without them. Will Trustbusters work out? I dunno... how could I know? This was their first week on TV and their first matches in front of real crowds... even Judgment Day was given a few weeks before people started checking out. What I think will help are more matches like Davari had vs Orange, that ruled, and just more cohesive dynamics. That Trios Match vs Best Friends is likely going to be a show out performance, and I have to wonder if we're gonna see Slim J, Sonny, and Parker as the team.

Yeah honestly I don't really understand the hate outside of people being mad that others they like aren't getting a shot. Pretty sure the Trustbusters are going to ROH once that deal is announced but Boudreaux being signed and being one to develop for the future doesn't bug me. I also wonder how many people are judging him based off of how bad he looked as Harland

I also wonder how many people are judging him based off of how bad he looked as Harland It's not something I really see much of here, but there's this annoying tendency a lot of fans have re: NXT alumni crossing over, where if they were in popular storylines or at the top of the card, they just want to see that same angle regardless of how played out it is, but if they were there for a cup of coffee or didn't really find their footing or had a mediocre look... oh they're terrible they'll never amount to anything why did AEW pick them up. Usually before yammering about how someone they like was so held down, blah blah blah.

Last year, remember 2.0 and how they were featured? Now people like them specially Daddy Magic promos.

The guy is young, has his look, and can obviously improve over time. That's good. That's great. I don't have a problem with him and over time I'll probably enjoy his presence more. I'm personally just having a real head tilt of a first impression.
I don't know. I've been watching AEW Dark & Elevation for like three years now and I've seen a lot of good talent come in, improve, and seemingly fit the mold for what AEW does so sometimes its a bummer to see a big dude who looks like a three year old's drawing of Brock Lesnar to not only show up, but be featured on a nationally televised episode of AEW programming. I don't watch WWE much, if at all, anymore so I've never seen him before.
He seems fine. Like a big dude learning. Satnam Singh gets to be around cause he's 90 feet tall. This guy gets to be around cause he's got 'pure potential' and I'm just wondering what's up with Cezar Bononi. Something go wrong there or what?

I would grow out his hair or something. He needs to have his own look; Brock comparisons won't do him any favors That, and he should get some different gear to hopefully get most of those comparisons to ease off.

I will once again say the name Trust Busters is stupid...
BUSTING TRUSTS IS NOT GOOD FOR TRUSTS DAIVARI.

I personally never saw the Brock comparisons. They're both big white dudes? Sure. But like, Brock's tattoos are nothing compared to his. Dude is covered. I think it's a distinct look.

I keep thinking his last name's Bordeaux, like he's Scarlett's brother. But I don't mind him... really could use some new ring attire, though. Slim J? I even want Sammy to kick his ass.

It all comes down to 1 thing, guys like Singh and Boudreaux have unique looks, their size is something you don't really find anywhere when scouting today's indies so they're gonna be given a chance.

This guy gets to be around cause he's got 'pure potential' and I'm just wondering what's up with Cezar Bononi. Something go wrong there or what? It doesn't really bother me because he has a standout look so it's understandable you'd wanna show him off a little, but he's not exactly gonna be at the top or even the middle of the card This is kind of the super benefit of a Trios division, you can stash these dudes away in groups that compensate for their greenness and they can do their spots, sell a little, and be protected as they continue to learn. This is also someone who is clearly meant for Ring of Honor and the NXT Black and Gold aspect Tony wants to have with its rebrand with some wrestlers. It's a good business move if ROH is eventually getting TV, to show these guys off, so when ROH starts up, it's like "Oh there's The Trustbusters" or other faces and names to go along with the names everyone already knows like Claudio and The Briscoes. Cezar is fine btw he's just on a PPA deal as far as I'm aware, and is with The Wingmen who are all in the same sort of boat. I hope the Trios division gets them featured a bit more too.

Yeah, I'm not ripping on the guy because of his abilities. As long as he works hard and puts in his time, I can see him becoming a decent hoss. With that being said, his indy-tribute gimmick to Brock Lesnar isn't doing him any favors. I don't care if he has a bleached-blonde crew-cut and tattoos, but his gear and mannerisms need to change.

I don't even know if he's trying to be Lesnar or if this is just how he wanted to be, but I will take this look over his Harland one imo. It can stand to evolve but he hasn't even been in it a year so by all metrics, his look WILL evolve you'd think

Y'know, the more I think about it, "Trustbuster" sounds like it should be a finisher name versus a stable name. I'm hopeful that either the money gimmick is just for Daivari or they spread it out over the group so they've all got variations on heelish money gimmicks, versus HFO/AHFO/AFO which was basically one dude with money surrounded by sycophants and mercenaries.
Heck, call him "Big Business" Parker Boudreaux and give him the gimmick of buff finance bro that does the financial equivalent of that guy at the gym that won't stop trying to give you unwanted advice on when you should be taking creatine or how you're totally doing your deadlifts wrong, bruh.
