Since the creation of this title, I think it's the only reign that holds up.
Kevin Owens: Good matches against Rollins and Reigns but gets rolled over by everyone until absolute burial at Fastlane.
Goldberg: No need to talk about it.
Brock Lesnar: Not there 2 out of 3 ppv and 3/4 of his matches aren't good.
Seth Rollins: Excellent match against AJ, good matches against Lesnar and Strowman but there was Corbin and especially the slaughter The Fiend which happened.
The Fiend: Good matches against Bryan but shamefully loses the title and his momentum against Oldberg. He regains the title at SummerSlam but only to serve as food for the Big Dog.
Braun Strowman: Just served as a temp replacement for Reigns and had 3 awful matches against Miz and Morrison and The Fiend.

It's taken up 1/3rd of the belts existence. Not really much time for anything else, especially when 2 of the other planned runs were hurt by, respectively, a broken shoulder and someone getting cancer.
Owens run had great matches with Rollins and Reigns, and the Jericho/List/Friendship. The Celebration of Friendship might be the single best segment with a Universal Champ in it. His big problem was that they booked from October with the plans to do Owens/Jericho for the title at WrestleMania, and then, after building that for months, they decided Brock/Goldberg was a better title match at WrestleMania instead. Which is symbolic of WWE's issue the last decade, that all long term booking is thrown out of the window for a quick Mania sell.
