Josh Byrne (Brendan) no one seems to know what he's up to What's funny is the Step By Step wiki and a couple other sites have a "recent" picture of him, but unfortunately there's a little problem...it's the wrong person.

The movie You Again (2010) had a mini Step by Step reunion, Christina Lakin, Patrick Duffy and Staci Keanan all appeared in it. I don't think their characters had any scenes together, but I think this video was made from the set of the movie.
It was also a bit of a TGIF reunion, Reginald VelJohnson also appears in the movie.
I remember looking up the cast like 15 years ago and there was supposedly a pic of Josh Byrne at a Renaissance Fair.

I only know thw chorus of the theme song, and that Patrick Duffy was on the show. Btw we need Scuzzlebutt vs Manbearpig on the next South Park special. That will get me to finally subscribe to Paramount+. You mentioned the theme song. When I watched an episode months ago, I realized that one of the singers was the same one who covered "Yankee Rose" for the video game "Rumble Roses." I remember watching when it first aired growing up. Helped i had a crush on Staci Keanan (Dana) growing up. I had more of a crush on Christine Lakin (Al).

She was later in a movie with Paris Hilton called "The Hottie and the Nottie". She was the Nottie which no offense to Paris but no freakin way. Lakin was below my age but Stacy Keanan was a big crush since My Two Dads. I was confused why she was even in Step by Step after having her own show.

I might have to give it a rewatch. I havenât watched it since the original run. All I remember (besides the horribly CGI water next to the roller coaster) is Cody saying a Canadian quarter is from Canadia, and a brief appearance by 2 kids parodying Beavis and Butthead.

Angela Watson grew up to be Lily from AT&T. They seriously look like sisters.

Also, remember randomly thinking bout the show a couple years ago and got bored and looked up what cast was up to: Angela Watson (Karen) basically left Hollywood and sued her parents and won for spending all her tv money while also starting the CAST foundation (Child Actors Supporting Themselves) helping children actors when their parents steal their money. She also stopped communicating with her former cast mates However... In 2020 Watson admitted she was wrong and her parents didn't steal her money. She admitted to being in a abusive relationship at the time with a man who actually stole her money. Basically lied to her and drove her to distant herself from friends and cast mates for 20 years. But with help from friends broke free of him and currently rebuilding relationships with friends and cast mates. She told her story on Christine Lakin podcast DUDE, seriously? I have to be honest, but given my background with abuse and knowing stories of parents ripping off famous kids was and is ridiculously commonplace, I immediately believed her, just couldnât figure out how she never got work after Step by Step even after the story came out. Neither here nor there, but Angela was my crush on the show.

Can't tell if joking but you know the water was cgi. If you watching the intro now its very obvious I was joking, but even as a kid I thought it looked rather silly. Speaking of silly...here's Billy Gunn's music. I miss The Gentlemen's Club.

It was a decent sitcom, like on the better side of average.
Jason Marsden's funny in that he was one of the first voice actors I remember recognizing in their live action work, which isn't that surprising given he has been VERY prolific.

Christine Lakinâs Instagram bio used to say âprobably your first crushâ
Yep.
Karen was up there too.

I watched it pretty regularly as a kid. I feel bad for Josh Byrne being let go through no fault of his own. That had to suck as a kid and same thing happened to Jaimee Foxworth. I wasn't a Suzanne fan on Three's Company (loved Teri more) but I liked the dynamic between her and Patrick Duffy. They both seem like great people reading the stories or videos they do over the last few years so I'm sure that helped the show.

Man, thatâs rough. Yâknow, itâs one thing to crush on a celeb, but when you get an idea on what is usually involved, the life they live and the baggage included⊠dang, man. Granted, thatâs true of anyone, but it seems so magnified for celebs.
