Prime Animation's November update confirms there's only a few more scenes left to finish before Galvatron's Revenge is ready. They will release a new scene from the film on December 17th. In January, they will open audition for the second film in their planned trilogy

So their plan is to give their crowdfunding backers the fully rendered film, but an unrendered workprint will be uploaded to Youtube....

So, um, yeah, this film is now causing a bit of a stir in the TF community, but for entirely different reasons
Turns out that one of their lead voice actors, OrbitalBacon, is known for a toxic attitude and has bigoted views on those who are LGBQT+ and POC.
The real kicker about this is that Bacon is the voice of Optimus Prime
So 'Spider-Man: Lotus' has the 'racist' Spider-Man, Galvatron's Revenge has pretty much Nemesis Prime in disguise.
Doubtful I'll update this any further.

Likely friends recruiting friends into projects, thinking that 'funny, edgy guy' is just doing it for shock value or that people saying he's a prick are just being overly harsh... When no, turns out they're just a prick, and one now so deeply intertwined in the project they can't easily be removed, abut wider fan support sure can. Given how progressive the Transformers fandom is, and how communities have been gutted due to admin bringing their racist friends into positions where they remove all doubt as to who they are, they should have done due diligence on the guy. |

Prime Animation brought out a new Q+A video, half of the length is devoted to addressing the controversies in recent weeks, he doesn't acknowledge the Orbital Bacon backlash specifically (indeed, Orbital isn't even mentioned), and instead goes on a rant about how mediocre the first Black Panther was and being labelled a racist for it online, and badmouths Captain Marvel also. I'm not a fan of Captain Marvel either, but I don't think bashing that or BP had any relevance, in fact, it probably doesn't do him any favours even if he is a POC that just happens to hate things that are also targets of comicsgate vitriol.
He also doubled down on deleting comments on his videos that discuss the drama, even if they agree with what he's saying or not , he wants the videos to be for kids and for the content to reflect only entertainment and the progress of the films.
On the subject of the paywall he somewhat tries to quash rumours people on his crew have been paid through the gofundme for their work and that only the equipment was paid for, but it gets a little cloudy in some parts as he insists the fully rendered film will only be a treat for those who have donated to the movie with blu-rays shipped to them...when that in itself was the issue the detractors took umbrage with, the complete production is still not going to be released online free of charge (he alluded later in the video there's a possibility this will happen when all three films are complete, but not before)
