They could have put this match on Dynamite, both women deserve it Either on Dynamite or Rampage, while the Billy/Colten match happens on the other show and is just five minutes long at best.

They could have put this match on Dynamite, both women deserve it No time, they need to run a Billy Gunn match. In defense of the Billy/Colton match, that’s got months of storyline build behind it and will involve The Acclaimed who are one of the most over acts in the company right now. The women are gonna put on a banger of a match, absolutely gonna be heads and tails better then the Gunns, but it’s a match for a title that’s never been mentioned on TV that seems to be happening in a vacuum. I haven’t been watching much Dark/Elevation lately, is there any storyline build behind this?

But they seem to be on literally every week while the women are still stuck with their one match per night.

I know it's for a title that isn't theirs and all, but. Seriously? Come on. I'm not gonna single out any one story or person who does get regular TV time as being replaceable with this other stuff (except for Jay Lethal who I don't want on TV regardless of who is there instead) because that's a path to go down that doesn't end well, but. Come on. This can be on TV. This would kill on TV. This would help elevate the profiles of both women and make them matter so much more. They need to put stuff that can matter onto the Youtube shows, sure, but they also need to accept that people doing stuff on the Youtube shows won't matter if they don't also do stuff on the main shows. Someone who hasn't been on Dynamite in forever against someone who hasn't had a TV match since April for another company's title is not pulling people to watch your Youtube show and care.
If a title match happens on Youtube and fewer people see it than read my Garfield fanfiction about Odie turning into a werewolf and seducing Nermal, then does it really happen?

I'm just glad we're getting another title defended in AEW for free viewing. I'm excited for it for next week.

Yeah, like, they could absolutely make time for this on TV if they wanted to. But they don't want to. They'll never want to.

Hikaru Shida and Emi Sakura deserve TV time, but I am alright with this title match in particular not being on TV, given there's at least precedence for that, like Kenny Omega's AAA Mega Championship matches having been on Dark both times I recall him doing it, against Jack Evans and Sammy Guevara. I think the IWGP US championship is the only time I remember them defending another, not-Khan owned company belt on TV.

So yeah, there's no reason for this to not be on Rampage at least.

Also, I had forgotten the NWA women's title has been defended on Dynamite before, too. Impact title slipped my mind just since it had been one of Kenny's toys for ages at that point. Either way, I get it if this is a one-off or if the two companies have no established relationship yet.
