So AEW let Jack Evans go, but re-signed Angelico.
He shows up mostly as a job guy on Dark and Elevation.
I think this is a reasonable deal for some of AEW's guys since being affiliated with the company at all raises their asking price, and they can still make a mint on the Indies.
But I realized today that even with a ton of indie companies running Dallas dates with high profile people advertised, Angelico hasn't been on any of them. Checked his Twitter, and going back at least six months, all of his content is AEW related. If he's working indie dates, he isn't advertising them.
Given how he's featured I could see AEW paying him enough to live off of, but I can't imagine it's that much more.
If he isn't doing indie dates to supplement that, what's his deal?
ETA: His Twitter handle is AngelicoAAA.... When was the last time he wrestled for AAA?

That's probably a question only Angelico can ask

He blew an ACL not that long ago he may be taking it easy. Yeah, he just recently started showing back up on Dark. (For the record, I think he'd be a great addition to Hathaway's group)

been a fan of Angelico since he turned up on AEW. strikes me as someone who just needs a chance to move up from the lower card side of things to a mid-title belt contender level guy.
