And what do you think about them in general??? (saveus.222, it_begins, 2020 hacker)
Do you think Johnny Gargano & others would have better returns to WWE with these vignettes? I think that I saw that Johnny Gargano wanted to debut the way he did, and Triple H agreed to it. These vignettes to advertize a return is like taking steroids to maximize the potential of a very long-awaited return, but without the ramifications of steroids.
What would be your version of a subtle vignette to tease somebody?
I am ultra grateful that we have new leadership to understand the value & awesomeness of Karrion Kross & Johnny Gargano and other superstars who will finally enliven the moribund product who should've never been fired. I'm just glad they're in the WWE & the lack or existence of how they debut doesn't tamper my excitement or how grateful I am.
In Karrion Kross's case, MAYBE there could have been some extremely subtle teases to hint at his coming return, and same with Johnny Gargano and some of the others that Triple H has in his back pocket.
This would:
1) Make threads around 100 pages, putting more attention on the debuting superstar & rousing intrigue & suspense & uncertainty. Vignettes are fun to watch (Edge's in 2022 for example)
2) The climax & payoff is a bigger deal. Reserved for those you know are likelier to be on top of the card.
3) Karrion Kross wasn't doing all that much BEFORE Clash At The Castle. That time could have been spent with spooky vignettes instead. That was before yesterday's Smackdown.
If I were doing Karrion Kross, I wouldn't really know how to do their debut. I may have a piece of the Red encircled "X" from TNA (3d & color texture) and just have it blink on screen, then gradually have it take shape in weeks (with more effects)
