Once, from the house I grew up in to my apartment. Hoping to move to another state next year.

I’ve moved 21 times, mostly in western Manitoba although I did spend 3 years near Winnipeg. And 19 of those moves were before I turned 25. Hell, 13 or 14 of them occurred between the age of 18 and 25. Although, 3 of those moves were also in the same apartment building just upgrading to better apartments.

1986-1989: Born in La Grange, IL, lived in Worth, IL 1989-1995: Lived in Palatine,IL 1995: moved to Yorkville, IL then to Schaumburg, IL 1996-1998: Split time between Dad and Mother. Dad (Schaumburg,IL) Mom (Palatine,IL) Then Mom moved with my Step Father back to Yorkville) and then my Dad moved to Arlington Heights. 1998-2009: At first split time with parents. The chose to live with Dad full time. And lived in Arlington Heights the longest period. Dad had moved to Alaska and I moved in with Aunt and uncle, also in Arlington Heights. 2010: Fairbanks, Alaska for 5 months with my Dad, then moved to Woodale, IL. 2011-2015: I went to Charleston, IL to go to college at Eastern Illinois University. In the meantime, my family moved back to Schaumburg and then to Elk Grove Village. 2016-2018: Lived in Elk Grove full time. 2018-2020; Moved to California. And in that time frame I moved to four places between Ventura and Oxnard. 2020-2022: Moved to Mount Morris, Michigan. Where I currently live.
So if I count up the places I’ve lived, including splitting time with my Mom and college, I’ve lived in 18 houses/apartments, 11 locations and 4 states.

Just once. When I was 3 months old, my parents bought the house that I live in, now. I can still visit my OG home location, though. Even though they tore down the apartments, they built a Walmart.

This is tough to answer. My former job required so much travel that for 14 years I didn't bother having a permanent residence. I just lived in a series of hotels. Do those count as moves? Sometimes I was in the same hotel for nearly a year. I also spent 20 months in an Australian mining camp, and 4 months living in a modified shipping container in Pakistan. Do any of those count as places I moved to? How about the time I lived in a Navy barracks, then my boat went on a long deployment, and when we came back I lived in a different barracks on the same base? That's sort of like changing apartments in the same apartment complex. Is that a move?

Including military moves: 9.
Currently been in this house for 22 years. I moved in the day of the "infamous" 2000 MLB AllStar Game. (Only channel I got on the TV. Funny, the day I moved was the first game Griffey played for the Reds. I heard that in Mississippi!)
