A lot. Mostly due to my folks having to rent in the area before being able to buy houses thanks to various property chains. My dad was a poultry farm worker when I was a kid, so we moved areas a fair bit when I was a kid because places kept closing down. Then later, I went to Uni and moved about 6 times in various rented properties before marrying and finally settling in one place. Been in my current place 8 years counting!
Total, I reckon is 13 different houses, 7 as a kid and 6 since I moved out. Edinburgh Oxford Oundle (Northamptonshire) x2 Cranbrook/Hawkhurst (Kent) X3 Brighton & Hove x6
Before university we moved I wanna say 8 times. Though I only had to switch schools once as a result of moving. In university I moved 8 times. Since university I've moved 3 times including the one I'm in the middle of. This will hopefully be my last move as I've bought this place.

Wow didnt think I had moved that much. But living the first 18 years of my life in the same place. Then moving back there when I got out of the Army made me think I hadn't moved that much.

Moved out of mom and dad’s house to go to college. Moved back a year later. Moved in with two friends to try college again. Landlord sold the house two years later and we had to shift one town over. After three more years, landlord chose not to renew our lease so he could move his mom into the house so we moved much closer to where I was working. Within a year I decided I needed a change so I moved in with four other friends. Three years later the landlord got divorced. His wife got the house and she kicked us all out. I got an apartment with one of my housemates. Six months later my roommate got his girlfriend pregnant and she moved in with us. As soon as our year lease was up I got a place of my own Less than a year later my job offered me a promotion and I packed up and moved across the country to an apartment in Los Angeles. Met a girl and we moved in together in a bigger apartment in the same complex. Got married two years later and bought a house soon after that.

12. Twice before meeting my wife. We lived off campus in college and moved to a new apartment every year, then lived between her parents and my mom’s, then 3 different apartments before buying our house.

Counting house where I was born, three times. Moved from the hospital to there, so it counts.
First was I guess a sort of one-floor apartment. Las Pinas, National Capital Region. Row of houses. When I was in the age to go to school, we moved to Mandaluyong, also in the NCR. Place was essentially a large printing press. Big place, but only had one room to ourselves, though any relative who worked there could come into the room during breaks. Not much, but we had AC that can be used all the time as long as it gets a few hours rest. Finally we got a house of our own built in Cainta, Rizal, and that's where I've been since my second or third year of high school.

I've lived on the same street for 38 out of the 40 years I've been alive. Lived in my current house for about 33 non consecutive years and some how managed to move out and get the exact same apartment # in the complex across the street twice.
Born in Moline, IL, moved to Mesa, AZ when I was 2 for Dad's job. Moved from Mesa, AZ to Colona, IL when I was 6 after Dad retired. Moved from Colona, IL to Geneseo, IL when I was 6 from our rental house to another rental house. Moved from Geneseo, IL to Orion, IL when I was 7 once we found our permanent house to buy. Bought a house in the same neighborhood as my parents' house when I was 25.
Dad, if he was still alive, would be fun to go through this exercise since he was a 20 year Navy veteran, plus being a child during the Great Depression and WW2 and being dirt poor, they moved a lot around his hometown (not to mention the fact that Grandpa got drafted or whatever and had to go to work in the shipyards).

I was born in one town; my brother came along in a second; the first recollections of my childhood came from a third city where we lived in two places (making five). Then we moved in with my father's uncle for a year while Dad built us a house (making a tally of seven). We moved from the house in the 7th grade and I finished my childhood where we went. Since moving out of my parents apartment I have lived in two places, including my current apartment, so my answer is ten. Long story short, my father was not exactly the most stable family man financially.
