Man, how great has this guy been lately? He's totally in his element now that he gets to geek out and just be a fan while calling the shows. I couldn't believe it when this motherf***er brought up Iyo's trio with her sister and Asuka during the 6-woman tag.

I liked how he acknowledged the Walter chants, too.

I truly feel bad for not considering Michael Cole one of the goats. He’s probably the best going today in terms of consistency and storytelling. It was awesome to hear him running through history.
He’s like a hybrid PBP and color guy. He’s awesome.

I’ve never seen such a drastic night and day change. It’s pretty unreal. Like until today Excalibur was my guy and I still think he’s in that upper tier, but Michael Cole is out here telling people to acknowledge him.

Cole was held back by Vince being very bad at his job.
Vince was objectively bad at everything he was doing for many years back now, there's no arguing that Vince was bad.
You're free to like what Vince was doing in that time, but it was bad content and it was taking business down the tube.
I hope Vince sees ratings and feedback lately and realizes that he was bad at it all and that all of it was his fault.

He’s been fantastic since the old guy left. I’m really happy for him. You can tell he’s having a great time and finally getting appreciation for all the work he’s put in over the years.

I never thought Cole was anywhere near as bad as most people thought he was.
He's had genuinely great calls in the past. His commentary during the Daniel Bryan VS The Authority storyline was always on point.

I've generally kind of been more fond of Cole than not, but you can often tell when he cares and when he doesn't and up until McAfee he very obviously had not cared in a long ass time. I've not seen a super huge amount of his stuff after Vince left but it's still very obviously a night and day difference.

His work during the MYC and Beast in the East received a lot of praise, so we knew the f***head Slayer always had it in him.

"Listen f***head. Listen, every time you were talking in the back and, well, said, listen, I don't know shit about wrestling or, well, that I don't care, listen f***head. You could've muted the TV. Now you can't and now you f***ing know f***head, listen, that I f***ing, well, love wrestling history."

Michael literally dropped a UK women's rights tidbit like it even makes sense for him to know that. What a king.

This makes me curious how Cole would be with Taz without the vinceisms. Bc I strangely liked that combo back in the day on SmackDown

I liked how he acknowledged the Walter chants, too. This is exactly what I came to mention. I loved the way he did it too. Cole was held back by Vince being very bad at his job. Nah, he's too busy hiding from camera's while a random woman plays modern day Trish for him with a purse in her mouth for some f***ing reason like a sad dog.

I have to admit I have a real soft spot for Cole, based on how much better he always was when he didn't have Vince shouting in his ear. And his duo with Pat McAfee is the best he's ever been.

His heel run was as bad as it gets. However there's enough evidence now that was more on Vince than Cole. Has Graves improved at all? He was great on NXT.
