Wondering if anyone has watched a ppv, AEW or otherwise, at a movie theater? How the experience?
I ask cause local AMC is gonna show All Out and thinking bout going. I usually don't go to theater ppv showings cause how late it ends and have to be up at 3am for work on Mondays. But cause of holiday, work is closed Monday

I've heard it's fun, but I haven't had a chance to do it before, myself.

I've done it a few times and definitely enjoyed it, and it's especially fun if you're at a theater that's got a good amount of people in it.
Only drawback is since the shows tend to go late, it can be a little tough to keep fully focused once it gets to be deeper in the night in an air conditioned, darkened theater, especially if you're in one with really cushy/reclining seats...but I still think it's a cool experience.

I have done it. I did it for Summerslam 2021, Revolution 2022, Wrestlemania 38 Night 1, and Double or Nothing 2022. Being that I live in the west coast, it's not a big deal on the hours. However, given how long Double or Nothing was, I thought it was too stacked. However, I heard All Out was longer. A local theater showed it, but I didn't go watch it.

It’s fun. I did it for Full Gear and All Out. The only thing is you need to get a somewhat packed theater otherwise it’s odd.
