Guess it tracks with how little anyone seemed to care about the show to begin with but does still seem pretty backhanded that their champions not only all lost but the tag ones were the first eliminated.

Their champions came from NXT to the UK and the actual people from UK Pretty Deadly won the match

WWE trying its hardest to incite another war between the US and UK with these decisions. No but seriously, both Mandy and Bron could have easily lost tonight and been fine. Mandy is desperately needed on Smackdown right now, even if its just as a flavor of the month heel for Liv to overcome. Because going back to Ronda would be too soon, and we all know Charlotte won't put Liv over, or will do it very selfishly. Or just beat her.
And Bron's entire identity is tied to the NXT title which sucks because a plank of wood has more personality than him.

I think Bate is going to the main roster. So him losing ain't too bad.
They also left the door open for Mandy vs Meiko, since Blair took the pin and Meiko had the match won.
Also for Bron, there's still the big "money" match for him, and how his reign should end. Bron vs Carmelo, with Melo winning. They've done a great job of keeping those 2 apart, same with keeping Bron and Waller apart.

There was over reliance on dull wrestlers and they kept pushing some right dodgy people far longer than comfortable. (Oh hi Gallus!) Some wrestlers I liked were involved. Most of them seem to have been released now. |

I'm still unclear on why it was necessary to put an end NXT UK and unify the titles. Is NXT Europe really going to be that different?
