Every time I see Otis, all I can think is: “Why is he clean shaven though??” and it just makes it difficult to look past that when I think he would benefit hugely from having his beard back, look wise.
This seems to be a thing company wide for years though and I just don’t get it.
Like when Big Show joined up with Chris Jericho back in 09 and for some reason had to shave into just a little goatee.
Just…why?
Edit: Wanted to add that I mean when someone turns heel btw

Roman's got a beard and is as serious as it gets half the time. Same with Owens and Sheamus.

Because it is an old school corporate type of thing
Back in the day, you had to be clean shaven, wear a suit etc and you're treated me different because you're "acting like an adult" or however they want to phrase it. Having a beard meant expressing your free will but by cutting it you're conforming to the system

I mean, compare this guy to most of his challengers up until DiBiase came on the scene (excluding a few outliers):

Maybe it makes them distinguished or something but the beard def maintain held a stigma for a while
