AEW brought back my love of pro wrestling. AEW has now killed my love of pro wrestling. Who knew the "lethal dose of poison" would be Hulk Hogan CM Punk? To paraphrase the Big Cat, Punk going "A YIK YIK YIK and A YOK YOK YOK" out the side of his neck like a dummy helps nobody. |

It's never a work. AEW keeps having this shit happen and it keeps not being a work, and every time something happens it's even more ludicrous and intense and it turns out to be very real because some people can't handle themselves properly. It's not a work. None of this draws. None of this helps. Earlier in the night, people broke out into an "Oh scissor me daddy" chant because they are now invested in the story of two immature jocks and their adoptive father, a man in his late fifties who wants to be called "Daddy Ass" so badly his own children betrayed him. And somehwo this story has elevated a group to the top of their division and turned them into a giant fan favorite. This is a show where two guys who got written off as unbelievably boring, over-present dudes who didn't need to be there have gotten starmaking moments and turned into big deals and brought the audience back around on them through presentation and storyline alone, and now people are invested in what they do.
They don't need to do this! Even if there was a chance this was a work, it's not constructive when the audience is alreayd open to anything!

That's actually not how it happened for me. I get notification notices, but I don't actually get any notifications at all. Last night it was the World's Collide notifications. Now I get numbers but the notifications screen is just blank. I guess someone at Proboards just decided to shut them off completely and deal with the problem tomorrow. |

I bet the press conference gets more views than the PPV does. that’s after the fact though, how many people were going to watch this before Punk’s comments were made? not many I don’t know but the post Forbidden Door Scrum has 272K views on YouTube. |

Punk has always been a bit of a scheister , yea he has value to any company that brings him in but he will always try and convince everyone he is no longer that angry shithead who ends up being more trouble than whatever value he brings to a company.
But Punk pretty much finds himself in the dream scenario right now because TK aint gonna do shit to reign him in unless the likes of The Elite threaten to walk and force his hand and unless that happens Punk from this scrum knows he can do and say whatever the f*** he wants.
