I know it goes in hand in hand with being a “smart” wrestling fan for decades but I’m so tired of every incident like this being immediately dismissed as being a “work”.

I just found out about all this about 30 minutes ago. And in those 30 minutes, it feels like I’ve read the word "scrum" more times than I have the past 38+ years of my life combined.

I just like to imagine Punk trying this say next to Vince.

CM Punk should get fired. AEW would win a trial because he shouted some good disparaging of the company

I'd take retired-for-medical-reasons Regal over Punk anyday of the week. With a wristlock. Gorilla Monsoon on The Unreal Story of Professional Wrestling: “You could take a guy in a wristlock and, quite simply, break his arm every night. You just don’t do that.” Regal: “We’re doing it tonight, sunshine.” Now I want a Monsoon/Regal broadcast team.

Tony really needs to get AEW's shit together.
That starts with reading a certain dude from Lake View the Riot Act. Suspend him for at least a week longer than Kingston was. Eddie was wrong to slap Guevara, but he didn't instigate it and was trying to actually help Sammy before he lost his head, and he accepted he was in the wrong. Punk though wasn't trying to help anyone, shat all over several members of the AEW roster and said that if anyone had a problem they could meet him in the hallway. Dude needs to be sent home and spend some time thinking about what he's done.
Problem is he just a decent length of time at home, and it very clearly didn't help him at all. Wouldn't be surprised if being at home made it worse. He had two miserable months to stew. Also Punk: Come see me if you have a problem *Nick Jackson confronts him* *Punk starts throwing Shane McMahon jabs*

You all can enjoy the 54, but who was around 10-15 years ago during the moon incident? If I recall correctly, it happened during the Rumble or Wrestlemania and some streaming service glitched and kept showing images of the moon. That and Superman's chest....

I’m sure if you asked Punk about Miz, you’d get a 15 minute tirade about Wrestlemania 27. Meanwhile, Miz spent this weekend in Cabo posting pictures of Maryse in skimpy thong bikinis. Miz lives rent-free in Punk's head and was literally the joke from the Real World that no one expected to go anywhere or do anything. He also seems like a genuinely good guy and has an absurdly hot wife. Meanwhile, Punk is lauded as a generational talent that is a game changer and all that, but can't help but be a miserable prick despite ALSO being (probably) financially set for life and having an absurdly hot wife. Punk is a guy who's widely respected for his work. And that's good. THat's admirable. Anyone with as much professional pride as Punk has would want to be respected for his work. But he's not nearly as respected as a person. Miz on the other hand? Miz's work gets respected by his peers plenty, but he's also absolutely got down the 'respected as a person' thing like Punk could never dream of. Miz has a lot to be proud of in his work life, but in his personal life, he seems fulfilled, functional, and happy in ways that I don't think Punk ever can be.

so per Alvarez, Tony didn't know about the altercation until after the media scrum since he had his phone off. All talent was still at the venue after the scrum so everything was being addressed in some way last night Tony, get your shit together you f***in' clown.
