Say what you want about Jericho but TK should just put more trust in him than Punk for the backstage stuff, at least Jericho is a total pro despite his politics views, like other said, Jericho should TKs Pat Patterson. I'm not so sure about that. Jericho has had his own fair share of backstage fights over his career. |

One thing that I just thought about that would make things even worse if this whole thing was a work (which personally I see no way that it is): WB Discovery just last week told AEW to tone down the language. And last night, they had their world champ and one of the faces of their company having a profanity-laced tirade against the EVPs of the company in a post-PPV conference that was streamed on Youtube for everyone to see. From a business perspective, those are some incredibly bad optics.

I have been guilty of questioning whether things have been work or shoot in the past. But let's be real Team 'It's a work, bro' are down bad. Like it literally is never a work.
At what point would Punk get to come out from behind the curtain, take a bow with Colt and say 'actually I was just working'? Otherwise he just has to be ok with people thinking he really is this pathetic, bitter, embarrassment of a man forever? Seems a bad deal for a wrestling angle.
It also completely undermines the crap Rocky knock-off they've been doing on TV over the past week - which looks even more hokey now it's obvious Punk is booking his own shit. Jesus Christ did this guy become everything he said he hated and more.
