In a coincidence I find kind of humorous, my dog got ahold of a Kenny Omega figure somehow and proceeded to gnaw it’s face off. Guy can’t escape it even in action figure form.

If Omega and the Bucks were to ever go to WWE; I admit that it would be worth it simply to see all of the Twitter WWE fanatics who have hated them for so long, all of a sudden turn around and say how amazing they are simply because they are in WWE. Look at how they treated Cody before and after he came to WWE from AEW.

If they go, AEW is finished Not even remotely true, and I say that a huuuuge Elite fan. It would be a blow of course, and I'd personally be devastated, but AEW is bigger than any one talent or any one stable at this point. It would take a mass exodus of all their top draws and most talented wrestlers - the Elite, Jericho, Mox, Danielson, Hangman, Death Triangle, Best Friends, etc. - for AEW to be finished, and even then I doubt they'd totally close up shop, instead dropping to Impact-level. Yeah, not even remotely done even if all three and some of their friends leave too. I said it much, much earlier in the thread, but AEW is here until Tony decides it isn't. It might change, the focus may be different, but it isn't done until Tony decides to stop spending.

If they go, AEW is finished 3 years ago that might've been true but even if Kenny and/or the Bucks did leave, AEW has grown far too big and has far too many other big names for that to happen. But thanks for coming out

If the Elite left it would cause a buzz for sure but again AEW has so much talent and the indies are so full of talent that they could always restock. Did people sign cause of the Elite friendship? Yes. But it's not the case for the entire roster.

Love the idea that "all their friends would leave with them", as if half the roster would walk away from good money deals in AEW to go to WWE with absolutely no assurance that WWE will utilize them or, y'know, even sign them in the first place.
Beyond that, sure, anyone could jump ship in an environment with two prominent, big money companies in the US now. Still doubt the Elite will end up jumping, as it says in the report it's just smart business to use the other big company as negotiating leverage, but anything's possible with more than one company around to make big offers.
But hey, if a bunch of them did leave you'd "only" be left with a potential main event and upper-midcard tier of guys like Mox, Danielson, PAC, Lucha Bros, MJF, Darby, FTR, Swerve, Lee, Samoa Joe, Los Ingobernables, Starks, Claudio, Kingston, Miro, and other guys on the way up or ticketed for a rise up if a bunch of spots opened up, like Acclaimed, Hobbs, Brody King, Buddy Murphy, Wardlow, Wheeler, Garcia, Ethan Page, etc. If you can't make something out of all of that, you've got far bigger problems than anyone leaving the company.

Kenta comes off very about Punk and I fine that funny since this thread is about Punk's bitterness 🤣

People keep forgetting Tony Khan is a billionaire even without his dad's money. This isn't TNA where they pay their wrestlers a pittance. Wrestlers using negotiations with other companies to get a better payday is just good business.
Besdides it won't even be an issue for another year and a half at earliest. Why post doom and gloom about it now?

And how many would go with The Bucks and Kenny if they leave. Most were signed due to their friendship with them and would probably go if they do If they go, Excalibur probably leaves too. Excalibur leaving would have me looking for more alternatives to AEW. He's in my household like 4 days out of the week.

We really have "If The Young Bucks and Omega go, AEW is finished" posts that are 100 percent serious in this thread right now? Holy shit
As already said, this isn't even a thing until a year and a half from now, that's even if they wouldn't re-sign by then. Second, it's very much looking like Khan is taking The Elite's side and Ace and Punk are likely to be done with the company. For how much they sunk into Punk, I think that shows some pretty broad company loyalty that the guy you pegged as an Ace shit on them, got into a fight, and seems to be finished because of it all. I know The Elite themselves also got suspended, but that seems more over the investigation than anything else.
Third, Omega was absent from AEW TV for almost an entire year, and the company didn't implode. The Bucks themselves have been hanging around with a short tag title run and such, but as much as it would suck if they left, acting like if they left the company would be AEW's end is ridiculous hyperbole. They should all be locked down to stay if they can be, but like Death Triangle won the Trios belts this week and I would safely say Death Triangle are pretty much equal in talent to The Elite at minimum, people forget just how stacked this roster actually is, they have four/five star talent that simply come in for a visit at points like Dragon Lee... they won't be "finished" by a long shot on the prospect of losing three talents, and it's a big if.

I think the literal only way Excalibur ever goes is if WWE promises him the top broadcaster spot, full stop. There's no way he leaves to be the second-string guy or anything unless they promise him a mind-numbing pay day.

My source is telling me that when Ace Steel is let go, WWE's going to bring him in and relaunch WWE Byte This! with him as the host.
