Have you ever worked in a media-facing job? You're damn right your boss would immediately go to speak with you if you went off-script in any way, nevermind a public meltdown like Punk did. What do you want them to do, let a manchild hijack their life's work because he's a spoiled brat? I was digging for something and came across this post, I'd somehow missed it a few hundred pages ago... You bring up a great point that I hadn't considered (and have experience with) As someone who has worked in Media...yeah...I've actually dealt with this kind of thing. One time, as the Producer & Technical Director of an afternoon drive talk radio show, I f***ed up and - during an on air debate between the Mayor and a political enemy of his - the political enemy, after getting worked up at some of the stuff the Mayor had been saying to him, dropped an F bomb live on the air. No biggie though...we run a 7 second delay...so, I dump out of the audio and the host (my direct supervisor) cuts everyone's mic but his, resets, and goes to throw to a commercial break so everyone can cool off and get back to the debate during the 6 mins of news/weather/commercials that are on deck. And in that brief few seconds of perfect timing shit storm...the F Bomb dropper...drops another, much louder, F bomb at the Mayor because it has devolved into a full blown shouting match loud enough for the host's mic to pick up. The 7 second delay (which rebuilds slowly so that the average listener won't even notice a difference) had not rebuilt so I couldn't dump out and had to sit there, mortified, as the F bomb went live over the air unedited. Within the span of 30 seconds two different management level people who had bene listening in other parts of the building came (metaphorically) screaming into my studio control room wanting to know what the f*** had just happened and why had this F bomb gone out over the air. I explained everything as best I could and they went into the studio to try and sort THAT mess out. One of these two was a vice president of the company my radio station was a part of...the 3rd or 4th highest ranking person in the entire corporation. Later, after we were off the air at 6pm, he came BACK to my control room. As soon as the door opened I thought "welp...i'm fired." but that wasn't the case. We had a very good discussion about the situation and what to do in the future if that set of circumstances (or anything like it) ever arose again. Anyway, I guess what I'm saying is, by the logic of some people he never should have come into my control room and if he did I should have...thrown a sucker punch while my friend the evening news anchor (who sat in a studio directly behind me with a big wall to wall window and could see everything going on - but couldn't hear it) should have come flying into the control room and thrown a chair? I've actually been in a few situations as management where someone I was supervising went off script or decided to speak to the media without telling anyone. It only got heated once, but if you don't nip that shit in the bud then you're at risk of someone being empowered to do the same thing in the future. Especially someone like Punk who is a) active on social and b) a known asshole.

Yeah, I think this is a very subjective situation and people can have reasonable opinions across a really wide spectrum. But I genuinely believe that people who feel that the Bucks and Kenny were "in the wrong" by simple virtue of going to Punk's dressing room after his tirade are completely, outright, wrong about that.

At this point, this entire thread has been this strange fever dream. I've had messed up dreams, and those at least followed some rules. This led me into believing I should go back to being green, which I realize is just another thing to my own insanity at this point. While from years ago. I had a Dream where I escaped prison along CM Punk. So Triple H sent Sheamus and his Gorilla Partner after us. Why Sheamus had a literal gorilla as a partner? I have no idea.

For most part, you need someone behind to pay attention to make sure things go smoothly. One place of work I had there was this guy, had been let go, and he basically nuked the stuff that kept the computers online which led to us getting a week off from work. It was overtime all the time, but when we came back all fresh and work-free... holy crap.
Didn't really interact with him, but from what I've heard the guy was rude. One of my co-workers came to him with an issue and he blamed it on having an anime wallpaper. Whatever the content was, if someone brushes off things like that you'd really want someone to supervise in case things go sour.
On the bright side, on the days that came by, team I was in was so tired and it wasn't even close to the weekend that we went to the nearby convenience store to buy beers and drink in front of the building. Amazing experience, to be on a city still asleep and just watch the sun rise, and about one or two hours later have the security kindly ask us to go home because morning workers are coming in.

Of course things are rarely "this guy is wrong, this guy is right" but we've all seen one guy deliberately air all of his professional grievances in a public setting, badmouthing both his coworkers and his bosses, rather than dealing with it in private. In terms of who's "right", that guy is already starting from behind.

When people who haven’t done a damn thing come on this forum slowing the thread down just because there’s “been no updates” and jeopardize the first 540 page thread this section has ever had, off of my back, it’s a disgrace to this industry, it’s a disgrace to this forum.

Especially when you've got so-called "Admins" that aren't fit to run a Target! (I'm kidding, please don't ban me.. I spend way too much of my life here)

Why I'm a grown ass adult man and I decide to continue posting on this thread despite there being no updates is nobody else's f***ing business. But, my fellow posters - if I fall backwards - will catch me. The users slowing down this thread, I feel never would have. My problem is I want to bring these guys with me to the top, and they don't want to see me at the top, okay? Call it jealousy, call it envy, whatever the f*** it is. These guys don't want to see us be a part of the first 540 page thread in the AEW forum's history.
But, we've got a forum to run here. F*** 'em.

I've been on this board since 2008. I'm old, I'm hurt, I'm f***in' tired, and ya'll are f***in' children.

I just saw a promo video for the Packers/Bears game on Sunday Night Football on 9/18 (it was during a commercial break for Chicago P.D. on USA Network. It's not online, yet. I looked.)
It opens on Aaron Rogers for the first 15/20 seconds (hyping him up) and uses....Cult of Personality as the music bed. So, which one of you works in video production for NBC Sports? Ironically, Aaron Rogers shares some similar characteristics to Punk He's lucky he never had a WR like Terrell Owens.

Oh, this is not CM Punk talking to everyone involved, this is Phil Brooks talking to the following:
Matt Jackson Nick Jackson Tyson Smith Stephen Woltz
Along with Scott Colton. Anyone else missing? Tony, what is your name in your native tongue again?
