The Jim Cornette poster guy has attended AEW shows in the past with the similiar signs. I do not know if he is loaded or his parents are loaded, but I'd like to think I make good money, but not that good to go to an event and hate watch it along with intent of trolling the crowd. At least Brock Lesnar Guy has fun in the events, even if he is trying to put himself over most of the time. Well I'd prefer it compared to the Marlins guy.

That's my question: What exactly was the end game in Punk's head? Y'know that scene from The Simpsons where Homer imagines himself 10 feet tall and plated in gold?

I make an alright living, and I certainly burn too much money on some things that interest or amuse me; one of those things is attending live sports, events, and some wrestling shows. But any time I see the prices for any kind of live event and see people lining up to pay over $200 for seats I just can't wrap my head around it. Like, no matter how much I earn, my first instinct is always to ask for the cheapest seats, unless there's a good deal available on something a bit further up. But once you're talking $300-$1,000 for a goddamned chair, you've completely lost me. I'm perfectly happy in the cheapies; honestly it's usually more exciting up there, anyway.

Nothing says owning* a company like giving them large amounts of money to sit front row.
*Owning as in mocking, not the type of owning Punk seemed to think he has

A Minnesota Vikings podcast I listen to had a Patreon episode yesterday with a story about how one of the hosts went to a Nine inch nails concert in Colorado. Now Phish was having a 5 day festival at the same time. So they heard how good the NIN first show was and bought up the tickets to the 2nd night show driving up the price that day. Apparently someone paid $900 to take reportedly way too much mushrooms brag about how much money they spent, acted like a douchenozzle and just became non verbal and sitting there at the end. He tried to help him right after but at a certain point he just informed staff and left. Wasn't even a trust fund baby just some Phish head in his 40s What's the point of this story? Idk. Just makes me feel better about my stupidly expensive purchases over the last couple of years. At least I have a thing that I can brag about, show off, or is an experience cool to an average person.

Question for a MOD (or anyone who can figure this out for me)
I tried to figure this out but I can't figure out how pro-boards search function works to make it feasible...SO...in the history of FAN, in terms of total post count/page count (as of right now) where does this thread rank? I mean, we've got more than double the page count of the Rogues Gallery stickied thread in Off Topic and that damn thread has been around since 2012 so my gut tells me it's up there.
Just generally curious.
Thank you.

So... because of this thread and CM Punk eating a muffin, I actually got a muffin at a cafe yesterday before work lol. I was reading through every post, and this one caused me to look for someone who asked you, and no one has, what kind of muffin?

The funniest thing about the Cornette dork is how sheepish and scared he looked holding up his sign once he realized he was getting a camera close-up. I thought you wanted everyone to notice you, you ****ing clown. Bro probably spent 600 on the ticket to impress an old man. Probably could have spent 20 at Wendy's to do that Double meat, double cheese, double onions mother f***er!

I would swim over the Atlantic and sleep on the arena floor to go to an AEW show and people go just to troll. Does not compute.

I would swim over the Atlantic and sleep on the arena floor to go to an AEW show and people go just to troll. Does not compute. It goes for both companies. My buddy got wasted and booed an entire 3 hour Raw. Granted it was the episode with Lashley’s sisters. I’m so glad I wasn’t there. On both counts.

Sadly, all the good stuff CM Punk build out of All Out, he immediately threw away, and he planned on throwing it away, or at least, he planned on that going a lot better in his head... That's my question: What exactly was the end game in Punk's head? "CM Punk, your career has the momentum of a runaway freight train, why are you so popular?" "Ooh, a tough question, but a fair one. There's no single answer. Some viewers respond to my integrity. Others are more impressed with my incorruptibility. Still others by my determination to eat muffins and the bureaucrats in the Elite can put that in their pipes and smoke it!"

Just generally curious. Thank you. We’ve had WrestleMania live threads hit the 500s and beyond, so we’re still not near a record yet. But here’s my dilemma. If the topic is starting to peter out, then don’t force yourself to post in it just for the sake of trying to set a record. I feel like the page count has grown artificially beyond its logical number because of all the off-topic detours and all the “We have to get the page count to this number” stuff and it’s like… This thread only keeps getting posted in not because of new developments and opinions on the ongoing Punk situation, but to consciously try and set a record.

Wasn’t that same dude in the front row of AEW show before looking miserable? I swear I’ve seen him before. Tonight he decided to cosplay as the Christmas Creature with the outfit he had on.

If suspensions are being lifted for those who broke up the fight then we're probably nearing the end game on some type of punishment. Can't remember if it was Daniels or Nakazawa but one of them was interpreted as a 'neutral party' whatever that meant in a prior report.
Imagine if this does go to lawsuits....

Don't know if anyone said anything already, but I was at Dynamite Yesterday and the merch stand was selling a CM Punk shirt and Young Bucks action figures.
