I don't have an issue with fans bringing signs to shows, and I hate censorship.

But, like, I also understand that wrestling companies are producing a television show and ought to be able to remove signs that distract from the program if they are too offensive or over the top.

Yeah the Cornette fan was the one who jumped the barricade at the first Dynamite when they went back on the road. Jericho and MJF were gonna have a face-off, and the fan jumped Jericho as he was going down to the ring.

Honestly I’m fine with signs being not allowed or at the minimum not allowed in the fronts of sections/where they can block others view especially front row, solely because it blocks other peoples view and it’s not fair to pay that $$$ and have to look at the back of some dudes troll sign. I’m pretty sure that’s how the NBA and “real” sports do things. If you wait for someone to display a sign with an abhorrent message on it before kicking them out or taking it they won’t care because they already got it onto tv.

I think fans should be able to wear what they want and have whatever signs they want (within reason) but if you're going to be seated in the first few rows on the hard cam side, you have to be aware that your presence could be disruptive and you shouldn't aim to be that. Sit there with your Cornette shirt and edgelord signs when you're row 20, but not when you're front row center.

Personally I'd just ban signs entirely. Way too much stupid shit gets written on them and they obstruct people's view anyway.

Signs were especially a way of showing off to people at home that you were on TV... which with clearer hd signals and it not being as much as an event with things like Youtube it's definitely lost a lot of steam.

Signs that are intentionally hateful should definitely be taken away, but leave signs as a whole. I'll be damned if we don't continue the video game war.
