AEW board stats... Every thread for the AEW board on page 1 (including the stickies like BTE) equals 1,089,066 views. This thread alone is almost 1/3 of that total at 307,602 views. This thread is just pure fun. It's the closest thing to the TNA threads circa 2014 or 2015 or so that we're just hysterical. The difference for me being I didn't watch TNA then and I do watch AEW now, so I'm understanding a lot more of the references. |

I think that's a little bit of an overstatement. It's more that the nature of this f***ing bizarre incident is such that people are being very tight-lipped, probably because A. a lot of the lead-up involved people spilling stuff to dirt sheets and Punk making (likely groundless) accusations on who did it, and B. the people who have direct knowledge of it being a tighter circle than some other stuff would have been. If you're someone like Kip Sabian, etc, you probably aren't going to know much about what the plan, if any, is with Punk, for example. We've seen actual exposure happen with wrestling journalists, and it's usually when one just makes shit up wholesale or buys into really bad information out of desperation to have something, anything, to talk about, like whoever it was that was insisting back in the day that AJ Lee was off because she had children. |

Funnier still would be if that happened, and all we knew was that Brandon and Nakazawa were suspended, but not why. I feel like people would assume something like that the two had lost the physical belts, though I guess Jericho already established precedence for what happens there. |
