Also I love that Punk's 03 soundtrack to his life is "Hatebreed with a lil 50 Cent" cause I almost guarantee it means that there's a clip of Punk at an indy show saying he's got the magic stick.

Wow, I totally missed the "hurt the gate" thing. How would Hangman's promo remotely have hurt the gate? Even if the event wasn't already sold out by the time, it was a line so subtle that people that knew what it was referencing knew anyway, and those that didn't either would have thought nothing of it or thought it was building to something.
Hell I didn't know until weeks after that it was referencing Colt, and only did when... let's see...oh right, when a blood and muffin crumb covered Punk cried about it on camera.
