Hey gang, I know that there's 0% malicious intent from any of you, truly, regarding this and it's probably just been mentioned because he's among the most famous mother-son dynamics in modern wrestling history, but Judy Bagwell's passing last November has contributed to a lot of the really sad situations surrounding Buff and - again - I know absolutely none of you were in any way taking a shot at him or mocking him or even making light of it - but, to me at least, it's kind of reading uneasy to use her name even in jokes.

Not trying to tell anyone what to do, but just wanted to throw that out there as I don't know how many of us here know that she passed on.

THat's the second thread on the broader 'Vince did a sex pest thing' issue though, so it's mostly just ocnfirmation of what people had already been speculating. Plus, it's less fun to run hilarious off topic memes on a thread about rape.

Yeah, I mean, it IS the bigger story, but there’s also less to actually joke about. Like, on one hand you have the institutionalised abuse of a corporate power structure, and on the other you have someone cracking the shits while eating a muffin before he starts a fistfight with his bosses with one bad arm when they come for a “please explain”. And there’s a dog involved, but he’s not the one doing any biting.

There's also that bit where notifications went nuts and just didn't work. Just led to a perfect storm where things just went silly.

And there's the sudden-ness of it. Vince news, you kinda heard the scandals and there's always the topic on when he'd retire and such. So many times and so many people expressed a want for Vince to retire. News on the sexual harassment brought more calling for him to leave, and when it came you expected it from the news that came.

Here you got Punk going off, and things snowballed from all the other add ons. Eating muffins, alleging falsely that the Bucks superkicked a door, chair thrown, having a bit of Kenny steak, dog being saved. So much out there things, as a single entry it won't affect much, but there's so much you feel you're in a crazy zone and somehow it's real.

Like in way... Vince stepping down was part of business, but here it's just a collision and then the car just exploded.

I think a layer of absurdity makes things easier to discuss. Like, I couldn't really get into some of my own family drama that much, but I cheered up a friend a while back by telling them all about how I am almost positive the clown I follow on social media, like a literal, honest-to-goodness clown, had gone through a messy divorce from a previous partner, who I am pretty sure was her husband.

I think the Vince topic is pretty open and shut too. He’s gone, Triple H is in charge, the product’s actually improved instead of falling into millions of pieces at Vince’s departure.

Whereas not only did this story evolve in a crazy way, you know it’s going to get even crazier when the other shoe drops and we find out the fates of Punk and the Elite.
