Agreed.

But the other part of it that I love is that if it's true, like, it's another especially funny nail in the coffin for Punk. Dude makes this big show of publicly doting on his dog for years, and then he starts a fight and one of the guys he wanted to punch is the one who makes sure the dog's fine.

I don't post much, but thought I'd let y'all know about the last 2AEW shows I went to and how they relate to the situation.

I went to their March show in Fort Myers since I was vacationing in the area with family. At the merch stand, I got an AEW live shirt, but I couldn't decide on the second shirt I wanted, CM Punk or Danhausen. I ended up getting the CM Punk shirt. I think Danhausen cursed Punk because of my decision.

The next AEW show I went to was actually All Out. I got a good deal and splurged on floor seats. I didn't know it when I bought the tickets, but this entitled me to keep the event folding chair. If you had a chair, you had to go through a special exit and show your wristband. After security, we'd walk down a hallway to get to the exit. On the left, there was an open set of double doors with some drapery blocking the other side, and some people entering and exiting the room. No one paid much attention to it, but I heard some other fans talking about it, and they said they think it's where the press conference was! I might have been mere steps from the most significant event in pro wrestling history!

Not receiving any communication from AEW really isn't unusual? Again, if they're wanting to appear impartial then they should be keeping their distance from both sides.

Yeah, and if the only perceived communication with Punk is on a buyout of his remaining deal... then it might be good that they aren't getting any attention right now.

While it isn't anything "from the office" official, I think Nick and Matt tagging AEW in their promotional posts of their new sneakers and the AEW social media accounts reposting them while Punk as treated as Sir Never Existing is probably a sign of things.

Since everyone mentioned dreams involving wrestling, here's mine. Fresh, just yesterday, my first one, or the first one I bothered to remember because I thought of this place.

I was back at work. Night shifts in the office. Lots of people I know, and somehow there's also John Cena and Triple H. Time for a meal. For some reason everyone just sat on the floor in circles eating. I'm about to walk to a circle and John Cena grabs me by the leg. I'm not even sure what happens or if he's talking, but I recall mentioning to him having chicharon on my bag. I go there and find the pack of chicharon empty.

At this point I wake up, or think I wake up, half wondering on how that didn't make a lick of sense. And I fall back asleep moving into a next series of weird ass dreams.
