No idea how he will have reacted to the Colt thing tonight but I could see that further lighting a fire under his skinny fat ass. Colt should have won, mostly because this was such a MID episode of Dynamite it would have saved it and been a feel good moment. Even if Jericho wins it back at Full Gear. That's more build than the show had.

The match was terrible, though. Yeah kind of wish Colt wouldn't have allowed himself to be used as such a glaring petty pawn...There was obviously no chance he was going over NOBODY is going over Jericho right now. Full stop. He’s gonna hold that belt until ROH gets a TV deal…then through at least the first PPV post-TV deal. So, might as well get Colt back in the mix. Was there a little pettiness to it? Sure. I’ll acquiesce to that. But it’s not the A-Bomb of petty that some are trying to make it out to be. |

Yeah AEW tonight showed how petty they are.
CM Punk is the opposite of petty however. All he did was........*checks notes*......make a public spectacle of himself, get into a fistfight with fellow employees, repeatedly lie about the details of said fistfight, and even use his dog to gain good PR from fans. But like I said, CM Punk is NOT petty at all. Only AEW is.

On the pettiness scale, I’d say this is well below trying to claim the EVPs you threw fists at hit your dog with a door and broke his teeth right as news comes out that they are coming back to TV.

I'm wondering how it's even petty? Colt is employed there and it only didn't seem like it because he was taken off tv to appease a giant manbaby. It was a cheap pop and that was it.

CM Punk exposed private details about Colt Cabana's banking information in a press conference about the wrestlematch Punk had just won. I would love to hear the logical reasoning for how this is even like 20% retribution.

The part people aren't going to say, of course, is that the idea of booking Colt in this storyline where Jericho goes over every ex-ROH champ they can get access to is only pettiness toward CM Punk if you concede that CM Punk put effort into getting Colt to not be booked by the company and that booking Colt is going against his wishes. That's obviously not going to be said, but like. I don't see any way we can chalk this up to an act of pettiness without also conceding that booking Colt is an affront to Punk, and the logical extension of that sure is uh. Spicy with implications.
