If someone talks shit to you and tell you there door is always open to "talk" and then they attack you when you do come, I don't see how you absorb any blame in that
I didn't invite myself over, you did with a CLEAR MOTIVE. You attack me, anything I do after that is defending myself
Besides all that, they got punished for a few months so whatever blame they had to absorb has clearly taken course

My standpoint hasn't waivered; Khan or Megha should have went without the other pieces of the shit show puzzle. The Elite should not have went period. It's like your sibling bringing in your parents and standing beside them with their hands on their hips too, especially after Punk was clearly agitated AT THEM. Once again the fans are the victims here You can continue to make as many comparisons as you want to real life scenarios all you want. The fact still remains: CM Punk started the fight with the Elite and assaulted them. Punk doesn't deserve to be left off for what he did because he was agitated and upset. If you are a grown adult and you are upset at a coworker, you should be able to calmly talk things through. If you can't, then you walk away and don't assault them. If I'm already upset at a coworker and that coworker comes in with management next to them and I go and start a fight with the coworker and assault them, I'm going to be fired and even possibly going to be arrested for assault. The same should've happened with Punk. Stop with justifying his actions or trying to put his actions into some sort of context. Punk was wrong and the Elite were victims. End of. I have never ONCE said Punk was in the right or should be left off...Thats the weird responses I keep getting...They can and seemingly are all in the wrong as well as Megha for letting them go with. That is what I am stating.

Chair thrown at his eye. An actual, real, probably human-sized chair. Hitting a man not just in the head but in the eye.
I don't care if Nick physically shoved Ace out of the way, that is out of line. Dude could have sustained multiple kinds of life-altering injury with that.

It was clear Punk didn't want to have a civilized conversation over the remaining water and muffins.

What exactly did the Elite do that was "wrong"? This is why you are getting so much blowback. You are blaming the Elite for being assaulted when all they did was try to rationalize with an emotional madman. You are very clearly victim shaming the Elite. And now you are blaming Megha for letting them go with?? You continue to place more and more of the blame around everyone else besides Punk.

I can't believe we are 659 pages into this thread and we still have to have discussions about if "The Young Bucks were punished enough" or "They aren't really victims in this situation"
The Bucks did everything correct if they were going to confront Punk, and got punched, a chair to the head, and bitten.
I don't know what some peoples definition of a "victim" is, but after you get torn apart at a presser and a guy tells the world you suck at your jobs and if you have any issues "come see me" and that is the result after you go to him with the head of HR to try and settle things in a manner that squashes the beef... and things only get worse? I'm sorry, but even if the Bucks aren't completely blameless, Punk loses any ground he has on the issues with the path he chose to take from beginning to end
That's not even bringing up how many times his side has tried to conflate the story and flat out lied about details to try and make Punk look like the victim, like it's an absolute shitshow.
All that into consideration, the Elite were removed from shows and stripped of their belts for the parts they played, they've been off the show for months. So I don't know how you can't consider that a just punishment, even after everything that happened to them.

Punk will always be the catalyst for this situation absolutely. Megha should have realized that when an employee in a testorone-fueled job and environment is pissed off at fellow employees you don't bring the freakin people he is mad at to them. That is where her failure to properly deduce the situation is. Khan was on screen so he gets a pass.

So we're going with the equivalent of the "she shouldn't have worn a short skirt" argument. Cool cool.

But they *had* to see him - with the head of legal and HR - that night or else he would have continued slandering and libeling them across his massive social media reach. There's nothing wrong with confronting him that night and they did it in the most professional way possible. The most professional way possible would have been her or Tony going to that room alone. I have never seen HR round up a posse (that includes all of the targeted people) outside of HR before going to speak to a disgruntled employee. That would only be the case if the Bucks and Omega weren't EVPs, which they are. Thus, they're well within their right to do so and, having that position, they handled it in the most professional way.

So we're going with the equivalent of the "she shouldn't have worn a short skirt" argument. Cool cool. This is horrible and will be the last time i respond to you...The only way your statement is anything like mine is if the offender went on a long sexual rant targeted at the person then told the victim to come see them and they did and got attacked. THEN i said they shouldn't have worn a skirt then....Horrible...Your twisting is ridiculous even if my opinion is obtuse. Throughout my posts today I have simply stated that they were absolutely in the wrong for going directly to him and that there should be accountability there outside of "CM Punk assaulted the AEW Roster"...We have all seen Punk fight....

That is where her failure to properly deduce the situation is. Khan was on screen so he gets a pass. So using your logic (pointing to the bold); if someone goes and says that they are going to punch someone else and they end up doing it, they are not guilty of assault. Because if the victim in question goes up to someone after the person has said they will punch them and they end up getting punched, there is no victim. Because according to you, if you announce that you are upset, that gives you carte blanche to react however way you want up to and including assault. That is the definition of victim blaming.

... I'd pay money to see CM Punk vs Aaron Rodgers in the octagon Only if Kevin Harlan is calling the fight with the Manning Brothers and Charles Barkley talking shit about said fight.
