If Tony loses Cody, omega, and the young bucks all within the same year due to not being able to confront his “top star” or simmering down the drama, this would be the biggest loss of talent from one company since WCW released Benoit, Guerrero, Saturn, and Malenko. I know Tony wants a company like WCW but that’s just being crazy. Again, just mentioning this because I dealt with it with people I worked with... Tony is probably going to lose Punk eventually. Whether it's in a day or a decade, the only difference is how many people are going to leave beforehand. Don't poison your future to placate the person you see as the most profitable, because it will become more and more difficult to maintain that relationship and it'll create resentment with everyone else. The fact this is the second time this has happened (that we know of) in just a couple weeks tells me that you either deal with the problem now or it's never going to get better. |
