Swear, I bend over backwards time and time again into seeing Punk’s side of a story, be it IRL or in kayfabe, and then he just goes into petty shitbird mode.
I get that he was apparently this great breath of fresh air for many fans a decade ago in WWE. But that bitter and whiny side of him has always kept him from being one of my guys.

I have to apologize, when Punk came back last year and talked about growing up and apologizing for the people he wronged I really thought he matured and changed as a person and I was completely 100% wrong and I'm big enough to admit that error on my part

I hadn't thought about the CM Punk vs Mickey Gall fight leadup in years until it was brought up in here and god damn I forgot about just how bad he deserved every bit of that loss. Absolutely hilarious that he refused to shake Mickey's hand at the weigh in and mean mugged him after Mickey spent 2 years going along with an absolute circus through delay after delay (ALL PUNK RELATED AT THAT) so Punk could follow his dreams.
Mickey had the most chill, respectful speech after it happened too. Literally made me instantly like him when I was thoroughly pulling for Punk to shock the universe.

same thing as the hangman page promo really, he didn't even directly allude to colt or mention him or anything like that, you could totally see it as part of the storyline no problem with him not being an aew original methinks this is punk's conscious really ruining himself more than anything |

And SRS said he heard of an altercation between Punk, Ace Steel, and The Elite, but couldn’t confirm.
Knowing what’s been said about Nick’s reputation as the “inditaker”, wouldn’t surprise me. Wouldn’t surprise me if all of ‘em were pissed tbh. Wonder if that’s what the fleeing security was about.
