Would totally understand it if Khan used this mess as a reason to pull out his cash. AEW would still exist (for a while) but as an YBs run indie. It’s been clear for months now that in the wrestling community from performers to fans to backstage people lack the maturity for there to be two major companies. Right..Tony Khan is just going to give up on his promotion that is profitable after investing millions...and more millions in ROH. Talk about overreacting God damn, this isn't as bad as the WWF KLIQ days.

Yeah let's not get on some grass-is-always-greener shit as if somehow WWE is a benevolent always greatp lace with no problems and where everyone will be treated well and good and better. Tony divesting from wrestling would be an overnight disaster for a lot of people and take down two promotions in a scene that right now is overwise just TNA (currently f***ing someone over with contracts) and GCW (is GCW) at its upper end. it's the only way forward Can't wait to be told unironically by real humans that The Acclaimed are thriving over in NXT Brazil and that they're going to be huge deals when they get called up that next level to NXT Europe.

Character issues aside, the persistent injuries for Punk this run have been really unfortunate and sad. I think his wrestling mind has been the best it’s ever been. The psychology of all the matches have been great and he reminded me more of Bret Hart than anybody else today in his ability to sell realistically in a match. His mind for a well laid out match is great. But physically I guess he can’t do it.

We've reached the "time for a monopoly again" stage Yeah let's not get on some grass-is-always-greener shit as if somehow WWE is a benevolent always greatp lace with no problems and where everyone will be treated well and good and better. But, but, but, CM Punk told us that the grass is always greener where you water it!

Wrestling was a fun experiment, guys, but shut it down, CM Punk ruined it for the rest of the class.

CM Punk ruined wrestling, that bastard
On a serious TK, not leaving the wrestling business. Having choices is good for everyone whether it’s WWE, AEW, Impact (as long as they stop pulling Kross/Frost shit) etc

Punk would be an absolute keeper as a manager or commentator if his in-ring career is over, but I question if his ego would let him. I do kind of wonder what his plans were if he hadn't been repeatedly injured, since it did seem at least at the beginning like he was clearly going to be winding down in-ring.

It's weird how many people want the WWE monopoly back.

AEW should be placed into the hands of Congress and investigated by Pinkertons AEW needs to go the other direction with Pinkertons and instead have the show open with the roster singing El Scorcho together in solidarity

I highly, highly doubt Tony Khan is going to leave the wrestling business just because one guy who has a reputation for being a dick turned out to be a dick. If Punk's AEW run ended at All Out, it was still a solid year of content.

Yeah, he has value in that regard. Despite how it (probably) ended, he did still get to do some great stuff in this run. The feud with MJF is still some of the best stuff in wrestling in years, and the dog collar match (including the entrance) is really special.

CM Punk is going to pretend a whole as HBK come to God conversion for the sole purpose of managing Britt Baker
