Would totally understand it if Khan used this mess as a reason to pull out his cash. AEW would still exist (for a while) but as an YBs run indie. It’s been clear for months now that in the wrestling community from performers to fans to backstage people lack the maturity for there to be two major companies.  |

AEW Talent Meeting Being Held Today AEW has a talent meeting. After Wrestling Observer reported that AEW Champion CM Punk was in Chicago, and not in Buffalo, it was also revealed that he and Ace Steel would have a zoom call with officials at 4 PM EST. That isn't the only meeting however. We're told that an AEW talent meeting was set to take place at 4:15 PM EST, with talent, referees, coaches and announcers. Bryan Danielson, Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley were set to lead the meeting. Chris Jericho had been complimented by several on the AEW roster about his demeanor and resolve as the Elite/CM Punk situation unfolded. Wrestling Observer also confirmed Fightful Select's report of a CM Punk injury, and added that he needs surgery, and that the title situation would be resolved. The Wrestling News' Brian Last reported yesterday that suspensions all around would be coming. Fightful Select will work to learn more details of the meetings. per Frightful With those three leading the charge I like to imagine a mixture of a high school youth group assembly and one of those scared straight field trips. |

In all this news that Ace bit Kenny, I wonder if anyone has checked if Kenny is okay, or do we have to wait for a full moon to see if he starts growling and growing extra fur? Depending on whether or not they even are willing to go there (or can legally go there) when this all blows over, I could totally see this being a BTE sketch. |

We've reached the "time for a monopoly again" stage Yeah let's not get on some grass-is-always-greener shit as if somehow WWE is a benevolent always greatp lace with no problems and where everyone will be treated well and good and better. Tony divesting from wrestling would be an overnight disaster for a lot of people and take down two promotions in a scene that right now is overwise just TNA (currently f***ing someone over with contracts) and GCW (is GCW) at its upper end. |
