That spoke volumes. No little side digs or winky puns, just putting the attention on the “f*** C.M Punk” chants. Clearly a giant, solemn, defiant “f*** You” from dudes who legally probably can’t say much, if anything, at all. Acknowledgment of the victory that is all these people loudly giving them support. Punk wanted to turn people against these guys and this crowd rejected every word of it.

That and editing in Matt fist bumping Colt before he went out to the ring for his match with Jericho also felt like a very pointed choice 😂

With Dynamite being in Chicago this Wednesday I gotta wonder how THAT is gonna go when the Elite come out.
Also wondering if Tony is rethinking that whole “Chicago is our home away from home” thing. Though, I guess if they continue to draw and sell tickets? f*** it.

How childish can they get? They just keep giving me more reason not to watch AEW at all anymore.

Being childish is worse than attacking your bosses.

I want someone to do a video where the first half is the pop and reaction of the fans when Punk debuted for AEW, and the second half is the fans loudly and visibly yelling "f*** CM Punk."
Both equally visceral and warranted reactions.

I would say this was to be expected How childish can they get? They just keep giving me more reason not to watch AEW at all anymore. You watched before? Every time I put up a poll your trademark is "Didn't Watch", that was well before any of this happened too. Also think it's so funny people think The Elite are immature in this situation when they got torn down verbally and then assaulted by the guy the crowd is chanting "F***" at. Some of ya'll really need to get over your Elite hatred bias, and they didn't tell the crowd what to f***ing chant. The crowd took in all the info at this point that has been reported and presented and made their own conclusion The Elite highlighting that conclusion is pretty appropriate, again, given what the other side did to them, at the scrum, and then afterwards reputation wise.

Though, I guess if they continue to draw and sell tickets? f*** it. I wonder. Last time AEW was in Chicago with Punk, the crowd wasn't entirely on his side. There's plenty of speculation in this thread that Punk's reaction at All Out contributed to his state of mind at the scrum.

Wonder how Chicago will react to Elite. That arena might want to beef up the security.

Like dude a this point there is nothing to say ,you think it's petty to dislike someone that legit assaulted you. You are clearly never going to watch it and gonna come with more reason to dislike the Elite.

Both equally visceral and warranted reactions. That’s the kind of thing that reaffirms my belief that wrestling is some wonderful, terrible, unique form of art; AEW is exactly what “the voice of the voiceless” persona would have wanted. And this is how that story ends.
