I mean I guess it's still looking good on Mandy's end but losing to Nikki ASH and Doudrop who have have won one match as a team all year (and on Main Event)? I mean maybe there's more to it and Nikki and Doudrop are sticking around on NXT or Toxic is getting called up but it was a puzzling result that me wonder if they are in the dog house. Nikki and Doudrop have been putting in a lot of work lately between Raw and NXT so maybe it was more a "thank you" win for them then a punishment for Toxic but it does make me wonder if there push at least with Gigi and Jacy is going to start getting scaled back considerably.
I don't think it's a punishment thing, it's probably just time to start putting other teams over before sending them up. I'm actually not so sure Gigi isn't getting kicked out by Mandy and going solo soon.

I noticed that she's become the pin eater of the team lately and is been taking most of the falls in their losses. Between injuries and her work being shoddy lately I could maybe see her getting dropped. Although oddly enough I thought tonight was the best she looked in a while as far as looking more like her old self in that she looked a lot more smoother in her exchanges with Doudrop and not as clunky and slow as she has the last few months. I don't really know who you replace her with though as she does have a charisma and striking look to her. Unless maybe they just have Mandy and Jacy as a duo.

It's going to be a sad day when the girls split, Sid. But we'll always have the memories.

I think their performance on the main roster likely soured upper management on them to an extent. Because their match against Sonya and Nattie was absolutely awful. And Natalya, while boring as can be, can carry most other women to at least passable matches. If Nattie can't carry you to even a passable match, you probably don't have much of a future. And unfortunately, Toxic Attraction bombed pretty hard in their big main roster debut match. Gigi was out of place constantly and slow, and Jacy forgot several spots, and you could hear Nattie yelling at her to do the moves she was supposed to.

Take it with a grain of salt but the guy who I saw on here first reporting that Eddie Kingston was suspended talked about there a lot of second guessing the line-up of Toxic and wouldn't be surprised if it's Jacy & Cora on the main roster. I don't know much about the guy, but people said he doesn't have a great reputation, so hopefully he is wrong.

It's been a good run for sure. One year as the central focus of the division with the World Title for all of it and the Tag Titles for most of it. Definitely nothing to sneeze at. Won't make it any less heartbreaking though unfortunately.

"You weren't very good when you wrestled injured" would be a weird criticism for management to have towards Gigi, honestly, but if it's something like that they want to bring the act to the main roster soon and Gigi's not going to be healthy in time for that, I could see them planting seeds for a reason to oust her, kayfabe-wise, sure.
Though, unless this is going to be some Kevin Owens vs Cena thing, I don't know why they'd be wanting to move them to the main roster when Mandy hasn't dropped the belt yet, anyway.

I don't remember the match being bad either besides the one spot with Gigi, like it was as average of a match as can be. I'm not huge on cagematch for ratings but it has a 5.37, which fits how I remembered it. It wasn't even the lowest rated match on the show and one of the higher rated matches of the tournament. Like the final between Iyo/Dakota vs. Raquel/Alyiah was rated 4.19.

I get it. Gigi’s been straight up bad for months now. I do hope she sticks around and finds her footing again, because there’s clearly something there but I absolutely get why management wouldn’t trust her at all right now.

The finals got a low rating because Aliyah is really, really, really bad. It's like...she's been in WWE for 8(?) years now and is just as bad as the day she joined. Even Regal pretty much said she's worthless. And also the finish was beyond stupid in every single aspect. Wrong woman being pinned (Dakota wasn't the legal woman), wrong result in general. It didn't help that Raquel and Aliyah as a team are absolutely cold, and have negative levels of chemistry.
It also did severe damage (no pun intended) to Damage CTRL's credibility and momentum. It's why I think DC ended up beating Bianca clean at Clash, and are probably getting the titles next Monday.

I've noticed over the last few months, they've put more shine on Jacy than Gigi. Jacy's been doing more of the in ring work, and getting more focus on her character work.
They kick Gigi out and replace her with Cora or Kiana and her busty secretary. I'd say Tiffany Stratton, but it was mentioned in the NXT thread that Fox really wanted Stratton so she might be on her way up.

Jacy is clearly the more highly thought of the two by management at this point. Which is funny because initially it seemed Gigi was more their favorite. Got to be the one who pulled the belts down in the ladder match when they won the belts the first time, got more shine in the Wargames match, and was slightly more protected. However I would say a combination of becoming kind of injury prone and her work really regressing as soured them on her as she usually does the job when they lose and has fallen more into the background it seems.
Jacy on the other has gotten better in the ring and it seems like has also stayed in better shape. As you mentioned she's kind of come into her own character wise as the loudmouth of the group. Gigi on the other hand seems to be the least developed character wise. I guess she's supposed to be the eccentric goth one but they haven't really gone really that in depth with it. Also it seems like she's kind of the odd one out of the three both on camera and IRL. There's stuff on social media of Mandy and Jacy hanging but you never see either of them with Gigi. Also whenever there in the Toxic Lounge usually Mandy and Jacy are interacting and Gigi is just kind off in her own little world.
I can't really see either Cora or Kianna being in it. I think they see too much in Cora to make her a lackey for Mandy and Kianna already has her own gimmick with the business woman deal. It seems like they kind of like Arianna Grace for some reason but she's looked really rough in the ring from what I've seen.

I wouldn't be too worried about either of their futures just because they lost tonight. They are on the few NXT talents that are featured every week. The only week they missed I can think of is when Gigi had her concussion. Also, they were booked way better against Nikki & Doudrop than Kayden & Katana were, who are barley featured on the show since winning the titles.
Jacy might be favored by management at this point, but only because she seems to an extremely hard worker. She was part of the group that helped Bayley in her rehab and you have to imagine that would be looked on favorably by management. I think its no surprise that the improvements from Jacy coincided with being able to learn from Bayley. I don't think its them souring on Gigi, but more of Jacy maximizing her screen time. Like this is best example of Jacy maximizing screen time.
I doubt that was scripted into the show. Jacy just did it in response to Kayden taunting her.
Kiana James was also a part of that group that worked with Bayley and you can see the improvements she's made as well.

Man, I kinda hope not. I love Tiffany and believe she'll be a big star, but I think she could use at least another 6 months in NXT.

No doubt. Tiffany's got breakout star potential, but they can't call her up before she's ready and destroy her confidence.
