9/10.
A hell of a rebound from the drama of All Out's media scrum, even though I wish Best Friends could have won the Trios titles in an upset over Death Triangle.

9. First AEW show that I’ve watched in ages and it was a breezy watch with no insulting of my intelligence. Good wrestling and good promos. As long as Punk and the Elite are gone I’ll probably watch each week if I’m not busy. The Elite coming back hopefully doesn't chase you off tbh, given I feel they only add good things to the product, Kenny being a one of one talent I like Kenny, but I’m over the Bucks. We’ll see what happens.

I went 9. It must've been tremendously difficult to put it together at the last minute, and the moxley promo alone was worth the score. Not having Jr was really nice too.

7.5
I think the best thing about Tony has always been how he bounces back and delivers great shows when he and the company are under heavy criticism. Tonight was no exception.

It was a great show but imagine if Garcia lost and then had Westside Gunn sing with him afterwards. Then it would be an all timer.

I wasn't a fan of DT winning the Trios belts but still worth a 10.

Overall it was a fantastic show:
MJF and Moxley’s promos were great.
The Trios Match was awesome.
Danielson vs. Hangman with another classic.
Yuta vs. Garcia was great as well.
The only notable downside was once again the women got shortchanged. Storm vs. Ford was solid (minus a rough finish). But it was only 6 minutes abs 1 of those was PiP. Come on Tony, some “reset.”
Still that aside, a 9/10 show. Even more impressive given that they likely had to improvise a lot of it quickly.

10. They used the fact that so many eyes were on them to put on a hell of a wrestling show.
If someone was just tuning in because they read the Sports Illustrated article, putting the Death Triangle on first was a brilliant move.
Absolute top-tier promos from Mox and MJF, and "I'm better than Moses" should go down as an all-time classic line.

9 out of 10, sometimes change including drastic change, is the best option.

Not perfect but a damn good show. If nothing else the drama of the last few days may have helped AEW.
Very pivotal show and they knocked it our the park. More importantly they showed that AEW as a brand is stronger than any talent and they established Mox as the heart and soul of the company. (He reminded me a lot of Tommy Dreamer in ECW).
Well paced and great matches.

That show was basically as good as it possibly could have been given the circumstances.

As you all know, the weeks I actually remember to vote, I don't hand out 10s easily. But this show earned it.
Extraordinary circumstances, including having to vacate TWO Championships at the same time, one that has barely even been established, put extra attention on this show and TK and his boys rose to the occasion. A quick breakdown of my thoughts:
- MJF doing his traditional "we're in NY, so I'll be a bigger troll than normal" bit, only for Mox to call him on his bs and he immediately drops the act goes full-on dick bag? *chef's kiss*
- Mox's promo was an all-timer and a kick in the ass for anyone in the back who needed it
- I would've preferred Best Friends, but Death Triangle deserve the titles, too. Keep in mind, they suffered big time from the pandemic, since right after they formed, all three were off TV for months. At least Dark Order had Brodie, Silver and Reynolds to carry to load, DT had nothing. Then PAC still couldn't return until long after Lucha Bros did, then once they finally reformed their trio, Penta and Fenix kept getting hurt. So the fact that all three could be healthy and in the country at the same time to get their due is nice
- Swerve is finally going full heel and cutting off Caster's rap is just gonna fuel the fire and Arthur Ashe is gonna be amazing, especially when The Acclaimed finally take the titles
- Toni/Penelope was a decent little match, kinda wish they'd be more consistent with the non-Britt, Jamie, Jade, Rosa and Toni members of the women's division, but that's been a constant criticism all around
- Jericho's promo wasn't quite Mox's, but it worked in it's own way
- Wardlow squashing Nese wasn't a big deal, but that promo is hopefully the start of a renewed focus on Wardlow and the TNT Championship, because he deserves to be treated like a big deal
- Danielson and Hangman have great chemistry together and it was cool to see AmDrag finally beat him. I kinda hope Andrade and Rush recruiting Ten is a smokescreen and instead, it's Hangman who joins Ingobernables, cause he needs something now that The Elite are out for the time being
- Garcia winning the Pure Title was the right move, and it really helped wash the bad taste from Sunday out of people's mouths, I think. I do think this is leading to a swerve very soon with JAS/BCC, but for now, let's enjoy Garcia getting a babyface pop
Let's face it, All Out was not a great show. There was a lot to like, but a lot of baffling booking decisions that I cannot wrap my head around. At least tonight, it seemed like Tony had a clear focus on where to take things and it felt like a show he can point to and say, "see, nobody is bigger than the company". Because they were without four of their biggest names and turned out a banger of a show. Easiest 10 I've ever given.

10. Was there in person. My hands hurt and my throat is sore but this is a night of wrestling I'll never forget. This is why I love this stuff.
Buffalo crowd could have been a bit better but we brought it when it mattered. Not sure how it came across on TV. The crowd was HOT for Garcia/Yuta and I'll never forget the live reaction to his win.
From top to bottom, this was an excellent show. It had everything. Very happy to have been a part of it live.

I'll go with 8.
7 feels too low, and I had some issues with the show that I couldn't do 9, if it were an option I would go 7.5
Loved Garcia winning, and Swerve in full heel mode was fantastic. I'm glad The Acclaimed are still over like crazy. Super happy Death Triangle won the Trios titles. Best Friends are the definition of milquetoast to me.
I hate Sammy getting "rewarded" yet again, and I hate that what happened with Punk overshadows it all. I hope Darby squashes him in 30 seconds.
(also Moxley telling MJF his theme sucked was very pot / kettle for me)

10 for me, felt like an early dynamite and a good reset that was needed.

10. Some great matches, a lot of storyline progression, some people we haven't seen in a while/a lot of, eventful developments, and just really damn refreshing. More of this, please.

I loved it. I thought I wanted jokey references to BiteGate but I'm glad they avoided it and just pressed the reset button.
