Not bad for a so-so show (imo) against MNF

MNF was up 3 million viewers from last year’s opener. The Emmys were on as well, they had over 5 million viewers (not sure how much crossover there is, there).

Football is king this time of year. Also you had the Emmy’s as well.
So this is not terrible all things considered.

Dumbass Broncos coach = ratings. That's an all-time blunder right there.

Handegg dominated spots 1-5 last night, so this isn't shocking.

You're telling me the RAW rating was down against the premiere of Monday Night Football and the Emmys?
This is shocking & unexpected news!

Emmys are probably a non-factor since different audiences and all (5 million also isn't great for Emmys IIRC). But the dip is absolutely expected with MNF.
For context, these were the kinds of numbers Raw was doing with Vince McMahon's garbage without MNF around. So despite the dip it definitely did well in context to the last couple of McMahon years.

So basically they got the same rating they did last year...
All the people that checked it out once Vince was gone went over to football.

So, Bianca, Sonya and Omos are viewer poison, as are ad breaks.

So, Bianca, Sonya and Omos are viewer poison, as are ad breaks. I don't entirely agree with the idea that Bianca herself is viewer poison. The problem is that she's booked as full on unbeatable 99% of the time so all of her feuds have no suspense for the most part. The only women at her level are Ronda, Becky, and Charlotte. One of whom is on Smackdown, and the other two are injured or inactive right now. This is just the chickens coming home to roost with her booking. WWE have made her look incredibly strong, but at the expense of the rest of the division. It doesn't help that her promos are the same repeat garbage every week either. It also doesn't help that her segments also included her basically fending off Damage CTRL (who had just won the titles earlier that night) on her own (with Alexa and Asuka only showing up when she was nearly done with them), which did a ton of harm to Damage CTRL. They really do need to add some vulnerability to Bianca's character at this point, because on the very rare chance she does lose, she just comes out the following show and completely no sells it, making the person who beat her look bad. As it stands, its a miracle Damage CTRL are still seen as relevant, because Bianca has pretty thoroughly chumped them constantly. And even when they split up, it'll be hard to take Iyo or Dakota as anything more than filler challengers because of Bianca running over them constantly. Their fate was sealed when Iyo couldn't put Bianca away and the match was ruled a no contest...on the night after Summerslam. When you could have had Iyo win the match and at least tell the world that women like Iyo are on the same level as Bianca. And Bianca wouldn't have been harmed either.

The problem is that you could get around the ultra-protected booking if there were more interesting facets to the character, or in her character relationships, but The EST as a gimmick is basically just 'I say I'm the best at everything and then I'm the best at everything', which gets old. It's not as bad if there's a hook for people to get behind, like how the 26-second thing at Summerslam last year was turned into a revenge story (although Becky was doing a fair bit of the character work in that feud), but there's a risk of everything just feeling flat where there's no suspense.

The est gimmick is basically her playing the Mr Perfect gimmick but as a face, and that gimmick isnt made for a face. Turn her heel, or change the gimmick.

A large issue with Bianca besides the already stated is that she has already peaked.
Won the womens rumble and already holds the record for the most eliminations I believe.
Won both womens title at Mania.
Main evented Mania
Sole survivor at survivor series overcoming 3 on 1
The only thing she has not done yet is win the womens tag titles and I guess MITB....like there is nothing interesting she can do with where she is right now , IMO once she drops the title she needs to do a whole Rhea Ripley and get her a long term angle away from the title and possibly the division.

She's already been Iron Woman in three consecutive Rumbles. She's also clean swept multiple feuds and has multiple wins over virtually everyone in the company except Ronda and Raquel (she keeps pitching to wrestle Charlotte at Mania, but then she already has two DQ wins over her), and they haven't wrestled yet. They've done well in largely managing to avoid smark backlash, but so much in such a short time without adding to the character doesn't leave much room for her to go.

The Bianca vs. Bayley and co feud feels like it’s kind of stuck in place for the moment. They need to give Bianca some character growth to. She almost never loses and is rarely truly vulnerable and mostly just shrugs off everything. Have her show like Bayley is actually succeeding in getting in her head.
She also basically shrugged off her loss the next night on Raw. And she got the upper hand on Bayley and co last week as well. I get wanting to protect her. But WWE go too far with that at Times imo.
Also Sonya has won ONE match this year, just got battered by Ronda the SD before, and NO ONE bought her having a prayer of winning (especially since Bianca had already battered her with ease a few months ago as well).

I wouldn't say that Damage Ctrl has been booked that great outside of that first Raw. They struggled to beat Dana Brooke & Tamina; Bayley struggled to beat Aliyah; they lost the finals of the tag tournament; they win the tag titles only to get rekt by Bianca, Asuka & Alexa an hour later; and last night they got run off by Shotzi. They're basically the Reverse Judgement Day. JD dominates and wreaks havoc on TV, but loses their big matches in the end. Damage Ctrl are basically getting rag dolled on TV, but win their major matches. They're not as hapless as Retribution, but they are definitely a far cry from being a dominant faction ala Shield, Evolution or the UE.
