Nothing against the guy but how is Big E in the top ten when he's been out for almost the whole year? I know he had the title but he lost it literally the first day of the year. Does anyone remember what the grading period was again? Isn't it like something like September the previous year to August the following year? I think I read that the evaluation period was from July 2021 until June 2022.

Madcap Moss is so awesome he didn't want to be number 1 because it's too easy for someone with his levels of Awesomeness, he wanted someone else to have, what a great guy, his awesomeness levels keep growing and growing

Has anyone taken the PWI seriously? I mean Ric Flair was ranked number one during the height of Hulkamania. Like, I know Flair was putting on clinics during this time, but he wasn't Hulk Hogan in 1985.

Does anyone remember what the grading period was again? Isn't it like something like September the previous year to August the following year? Grading period was from July 2021 to June 2022. In that time he won the Money In The Bank ladder match, cashed it in successfully to win the WWE Championship and held it three and a half months, including successful defenses over top stars Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre. And as much as people like to act like he was treated like Barry Horowitz while he was champion, in that whole one year span he was only pinned five times (twice to Rollins, once to Reigns, Lashley and Lesnar). His TV record in that timeframe was 21-14-2 (so there were a lot of matches that he lost but he wasn't the guy involved in the fall, which is explicitly different from being the one to take the fall. I bet you'd all tell me how different it would be should Reigns lose his belt(s) in a triple threat match without taking the fall).

Looking it up, I guess it was their "Wrestler of the Year" that goes back to 1972. I guess I'm a layman in this regard, but what the heck is the difference?

All of which in my book are more important then being number one in the PWI 500.
