In honor of the reboot/revival of Quantum Leap later this month, I'm rewatching the original series. I'm in the fifth season and am so looking forward to getting pissed off at the end all over again. I was having dinner with some friends tonight and mentioned how I'm slowing down on the episodes like I always do when binge watching since I sort of don't want it to end.
This was apparently the damnedest thing they've ever heard of and they looked at me like I was a freaking psychopath. I can't be the only one who does this right?

i've done that quiet a few times, especially if it's something i'm watching for the first time. when i got Black Sails i went from season 1 to halfway through season 4 in about a week and a half, and then it took another week and half for me to finish the last five episodes (with about three days just spent on the finale)

Yeah I've done it. Especially Breaking Bad. I think it's a combo between it being really intense and my not wanting to say goodbye to the characters again lol

I have a friend that takes it a step further and often skips the last episode entirely.
This is someone who is deeply into her favourite shows, will travel internationally for conventions etc.
Crazy.

Got a bad habit of watching most of a series and then never watching the finale. I’ve done that with Sons of Anarchy. I’ve watched it through like 3 times completely. The last season is so f***ing depressing that I’ve tried watching it through twice more and just petered out. |

Watched How I Met Your Mother and skipped the last few minutes of the last ep. Would have skipped the last season entirely but Cristin Milioti is just too damned good.
