Absolutely not
I hope Punk buggers off and stews about how The Miz has main evented a Wrestlemania and is still wrestling whereas he proved everything Cena & HHH said about him true for the rest of his days

I have never understood the appeal of this as a dream match, even before the scrum. I get that it's two big names that have never interacted before, but I have never been able to imagine a hypothetical version of this match that I would want to see. I strongly suspect that Punk would mesh with Omega even worse than he does with Danielson.

Even without the drama surrounding it this feud sounds totally unappealing to me. It sounds like one of those things like Punk vs Bryan where it ended up being kinda meh. It's like spreading both Jif and Skippy on a sandwich and expecting it to add up to a sandwich with any dimension to it.

If Punk, Omega, and AEW in general could get to a point where they're all happy to work together AND they don't bring a load of worked-shoot bollocks into it, then sure. IMO Punk and Omega are two of the best in-ring storytellers in the business so they could come up with something great as long as they realise their own limitations. Omega won't keep up with Punk on the mic just like Punk won't keep up with Omega in the ring.
But there's a lot of ifs and maybes there that I don't think they'll be able to overcome.

Well before the All Out media scrum, I did want to see that match.
But between that incident and Punk's body not holding up too well anymore, I'm no longer interested.

Not anytime soon but once Punk heals up, he sees the error of his ways in real life (so much crazy shit has happened in the last 4 years I can see it) and has one last heel run putting over Omega or MJF. He can have his return promo bashing the fans, the elite (kind of like his media scrum) and then he can fued with Omega and the Bucks before being retired by MJF What's a "fued"?

I feel like people are coming down harder on Punk than they did Benoit or Flair. I get it, dude is a collassal jackass and has lost a step in the ring but he is still entertaining on the mic. If he’s a locker room cancer, yeah keep him away but I think the dude is somewhat redeemable. I’m sure his wife isn’t too happy with what transpired either so maybe she can get in his ear.

No. I don't think real-life animosity is ever a good foundation for a wrestling match HBK/Bret? Hell all of Punks fueds this past year has been entertaining and I’m sure there was real life animosity in all of them

I`m pretty hard on Flair and Benoit is dead, you also cant be harder than people were on him, there was people that had wrestling ruined for then period.

Punk vs Omega/Page would draw money down the road if they all agreed to work with each other, and enough time had passed. I just don’t think that will ever happen, certainly not with Punk who holds grudges forever it seems like. I think this is the last we have seen of Punk in AEW.

I remember a lot of people defending Benoit back in 07, either coming up with conspiracy theories or “being able to seperate the wrestler from the person”. Flair still has his buddies in wrestling and has a weed deal with Mike Tyson

Not going to lie, even before all of the recent nonsense took place it didn't strike me as something appealing. I get it, it should, but I just cannot imagine them gelling on any level that I would find compelling. That's before I even get into the likelihood of Punk attempting a bunch of shit he just isn't able for anymore a la the Penta and Hangman scenarios.

Honestly unless he has a real come to Jesus moment (I know he's an atheist; it's a figure of speech) about his behavior and takes responsibility for it, I never want to see him in wrestling again.

I'm a huge CM Punk fan. Only wrestling t-shirts I've bought in 10 years are his & New Day's. I marked out like a MF'er when the guy won the title at All Out. CM Punk should 100% be fired for assaulting his co-workers & never be allowed back.

I don't want to see Punk involved in AEW at all.
His whiny, bullshit attitude and his public disrespect to Tony was enough for me to want him gone. I'm not saying cancel him or whatever (I hate that shit) but I have no interest in seeing him involved. AEW is essentially my last grasp at following wrestling regularly and he makes me not want to watch. Wins the title, gets hurt, wins it back, gets hurt. Probably time to rethink the whole Punk thing. I'm sorry that TK gave Punk the keys to the Brinks truck but this guy needs to go.
