He left in 2008, he was Vince's trusted guy and then Stephanie let him go. Went to different companies, had the podcast, then he was brought back.
Based on the body of work since then, were you in favor of bringing Bruce back in the fold?

I don't remember having a strong opinion at the time. Since then, I've heard/read things that make me think he's a huge bozo.

I wasn't so much in favor of Bruce coming back, as Heyman being shown the door
his booking of RAW towards the end of his run was..... something

My main opinion of him was, "The guy who ruined Impact's women's division," and then sure enough he came in and ruined WWE's women's division so....

Didn't really care since it didn't really matter who got brought in when Vince was still at teh top.

No because he was Vince's Yes Man. It's not that I think he's dumb or can't be useful it's more that he's not going contribute in any way because he was just going to go with what Vince wanted. I didn't think Heyman was perfect but at least it seemed like they were heading in the right direction with him running Raw in that they were at least trying some different stuff and trying to push some new stars. When Prichard came back I knew it was just going back to status quo and sure enough that's what happened.

Where's the Snitsky option?
I'm nether yes or no right now. I want to see what he's like with no Vince around. He was a yes man to Vince, but that's what Vince wanted. At the end of the day, everyone was a yes man to Vince. Did Bruce mess with the women's division or was it Johnny Ace or was it also Vince. For me the jury is still out on him now. I haven't heard of anything positive or negative about him since Vince left.
Can we ask this question again in 6 months?

The guy almost single-handedly destroyed TNA's Knockouts division and I don't think it was a coincidence that it started to backslide when he went back to WWE. Granted, that wouldn't have happened if Vince McMahon wasn't already on board. Then you add Johnny Ace in the mix and it was threatening to go back to the dark days of the Divas era until all hell broke loose with the scandals. Shocker that two people who had no respect for women in general (Vince and Ace specifically) didn't have any respect for women's wrestling.
Triple H (and I'm guessing Stephanie) righted that ship almost immediately. And even if Bruce has a shitty record for booking women's wrestling, he's not going to do anything explicitly against his new bosses' vision for it.

Huge fan of Conrad's podcast family (hell we even bought our house through First Family and SaveWithConrad lol) but I wasn't completely thrilled with his return as I knew the podcast would suffer and it has tremendously. With Vince as the final say he was not going to move the needle much more either way I felt.

Bruce is a yes man, but he also had the worst job in wrestling for a long time - namely taking things to Vince, then having to take them back and sell them to talent after Vince had 'Vinced' all over the ideas.
The guy knows how to do his job, knows how that whole system works and seemingly has a good head on his shoulders for the actual Gorilla job of running the shows.
How much he is responsible for Vince's choices as someone who enabled Vince's choices is up in the air, but I think he gets a bad rap more by association than by any specific actions. When disgruntled people leave, you hear a lot from them about who they blame, but very few people actively name Bruce, while you'll hear lots about Dunn, Ace and even Vince for some brave souls. I think that says a lot.

Not really specific to him but generally speaking there should be new ideas behind the scenes not just the same old people with questionable track records.
The main exception is whoever that writer was that was responsible for much of the best periods of NXT and litdown.

Nope.
This company was at it's absolute worst when Vince started surrounding himself with stooges like Laurainitis and Pritchard.
Sadly it looks like HHH is doing the same now, with Road Dogg.
