Three matches with cheating finishes in a row, Toni winning but still getting beat down, more camera cuts than normal, a main event title match where they were overly focused on the guy not in the match and not giving Danielson the title when it feels like it's his time. All very WWE. Nah, repeating the same things multiple times a show is very aew trope (as is dumb refs even by wrestling standards). It's had got a bit better but this was like when two people got drinks dumped in them in the same show. Cutting to MJF so often AND him permanently being on the big screen really took away from the main event. As did the crowd being so quiet at points, especially during OC vs PAC And yet Mox winning is perfectly fine, there were some great matches and moments and in isolation all made sense just made an unsatisfactory whole. Most importantly great to see Saraya. The crowd was hot for all them. All that. I'll add that both Claudio and Yuta's BCC title reigns ended up feeling unsatisfying with "let's give them something to do for awhile" random filler vibes, I'm burnt out on Jericho and Mox in their current positions, I feel that somehow, MJF had an opportunity to evolve his character, but just fell back into his old patterns & promos, and no, I don't love the Acclaimed. I totally get why they're popular (then again, the New Age Outlaws were also popular in their time), but I just don't care for their push - Caster's raps feel formulaic and less and less inspired the more he does them, their matches are just not memorable (when they're not just messy - they really don't gel with Swerve in our glory), and I would have liked to see more than half a dozen title defenses from SIOG before a title change. Oh well. The show felt messy, overbooked and underwhelming to me, but i'm glad others liked it.

In regards to the Garcia thing, you could argue that they’re just repeating the same beat over and over at this point. Like he knows Jericho cheats, Jericho has been very open about cheating. So the whole “Jericho cheats and Garcia stands tgeee looking pouty” we’ve seen it before. DO SOMETHING about it then Daniel. The worst booking decision on the show by far imo was the Jamie Hayter stuff. It wouldn't be an AEW storyline if it didn't take six times longer to get to the point than it needs to.
