Great idea having her RUN AWAY from a jobber after she was the only one to get a reaction during that whole segment Booker of the year stuff right there Willow Nightengale is a great face hoss, and is also... well a hoss. Her running away got a pop because Willow is over, and it lead to a match which I also assume will be very over with the crowd Hayter plays a really good goofy heel, as much as I want her face, her running away from Willow to make Willow seem intimidating isn't a bad thing, especially when Willow is in the exact same boat as Hayter, really over, people want to see more of her.

They gotta strike while the iron is hot. Thankfully Britt is a heat magnet and can reignite things but its now or never for TK to pull the trigger. You can't have Jaime this over and not do it.

I wonder how she'd fare as a solo face, because her Batista energy runs so strong. Meaning that she's especially great when being goofy in a group. I enjoyed face Batista, but him embracing his full awkwardness as a heel made for the best tv. Jamie is such a great talent, she'll overcome bad timing, but it's unneccessary.

I just want an AEW where Toni and Jamie are both holding a belt! than have a full episode of battle of the belts where they face off and go 60 to a draw. They could pull if off imo and no I'm not making fun or joking. I just think that'd rule!

Willow should've chased Jamie through the face tunnel, thus cementing Jamie's face turn.

Willow should've chased Jamie through the face tunnel, thus cementing Jamie's face turn. Speaking of that, it was so odd. They were brawling, and then Jamie just starts running for some reason. It's not like Willow was beginning to get the upper hand or anything, lol.

She should not need Britt interference to win.

Yeah it's becoming pretty clear that Tony either doesn't want to or doesn't know how to adapt his plans when wrestlers are injured or have to be off TV for a long period of time. Like if the original plan involved Thunder Rosa and she's hurt that sucks for her. Hopefully she's back as soon as it's safe and there's a program for her. But pausing Jamie's turn when now is clearly the time isn't gonna do anyone any good. Most of us have been fans long enough to know that when promotion waits on turning someone face it generally ends up with a lukewarm response.

Britt apparently has a broken nose, too. Fortunately it doesn't seem to be as severe a break as Ruby's as she doesn't need surgery and can still appear on TV. But even if they wanted to turn Jamie, they have to wait until it's safer for Britt to take bumps.

I would expect they'd be holding off until she can cost Britt a title match but they've now been in that situation at Grand Slam and for some reason chose not to strike while the iron is hot.

The thing I think that can be most bothersome about this is if Tony Khan holds out too long, he risk hurting Jamie's momentum eventually. I think Wardlows storyline with MJF ran the right length and came at the right time. This on the other hand feels like it's starting to last longer then it needs to. Not the least being that they have twice in the span of a couple weeks toyed with the idea Jamie was going to turn only to go "Psych". I echo what others have said that Tony doesn't know how to book on the fly. I also still feel Tony sometimes drags stuff out longer then it needs to be with storylines or turns.

This really reminds me of Tomko in TNA. Heel muscle to weasly heel who the crowd is dying for to turn face only for the company to refuse to do it for some reason while also constantly teasing it happening to rub it in the fans face even more.

Admittedly haven't read the whole thread here, but am of two thoughts on this:
-The Britt/Jamie split is absolutely endgame and will happen sooner than later. I get not splitting them at the very first sign of dissension, that's always been a bit of a pet peeve of mine, and I'm guessing they want them together to work a few tag matches now that Saraya's signed and they probably want to ease her into in-ring action...I could well be wrong on that, but it's just a guess.
-At the same time, the crowd wants the turn, badly, and I don't think this is a case where holding off too long will pay off the way it does in some other angles. When I say the split will come "sooner than later" I don't think that means they should wait, say, until Revolution or something to do it, the trigger needs to be pulled earlier. I'd get to Full Gear and book an match/angle where even if the split isn't finalized there, it's at least affirmed to the crowd "Yep, this is happening, just a matter of 'when', not 'if', so stay tuned because it's about to happen." Any more delay will lead to diminishing returns, because the crowd's ready for Hayter to take off.
