Her match with Willow on Rampage was a fun lady hoss fight. Yeah, Willow's great. Calling her a "jobber" is really dismissing her too much. If it was Skye Blue giving her the business, yeah, I'd get it more, but Willow's been building up steam with people in her own right. I do think if she isn't used for ROH when that begins that she'll find her niche in AEW. She's got a lot going for her. The Kingston shout out helped her stock a good bit, too.

People call Willow a jobber simply because, well that is how she’s used on AEW TV right now.
She lost to Penelope Ford on TV a few weeks ago as well.

A jobber is someone who is brought in to lose matches.
That is how Willow has been used on TV so far. It’s not people saying she lacks talent.

There's a difference to me between a jobber and someone who's just lower on the card. A jobber is someone brought to TV for the sole purpose of losing and nothing else. Just a body. Think the schmucks who'd the Road Warriors would squash in the 80s. Willow is just someone lower on the totem pole. She has her own music. She has been on TV multiple times. She's gotten wins off TV, etc.

But she’s also below the “jobber to the stars” level if she never wins on TV, and loses to the likes of Penelope Ford. I’d like to see her pushed more, and we’ll see if they go that route soon.

This really reminds me of Tomko in TNA. Heel muscle to weasly heel who the crowd is dying for to turn face only for the company to refuse to do it for some reason while also constantly teasing it happening to rub it in the fans face even more. I know this was WWE, but Britt: "Hayter, gimme a beat." Hayter: "No."

I would say she's a JTTS but barely. She gets offense, is competitive, and beats the straight up jobbers but always loses when she faces a name even if it's someone like Penelope whose status I would say is lower midcard. If you want to compare 80's-90's wrestler I guess she would be like Koko B. Ware in how he was used. Koko always beat jobbers including the more known ones (Horowitz, Brooklyn Brawler) but any time he was facing a name he would ALWAYS lose.

The result of that Nightingale/Penelope match shocked me because I've seen Nightingale on AEW TV more often this year, while Penelope only just recently came back from an injury, and had lost a feud against Tay and Anna at the end of last year.

We're all assuming it's Jamie who will turn on Britt but any chance it's Britt who turns first? Like maybe Jamie ends up getting a title shot and Britt costs her because of jealousy.

I don't think it's that shocking. Willow has never beat anyone of any significance and as you said Penelope was just coming back from injury so they probably felt they needed to give her a win to put her over on her return. Also of the two Penelope is simply higher on the totem tole. She's basically the gatekeeper of the AEW's Women's division. Always beats the people not getting pushed but pretty much never beats anyone who matters in any way. She's been with the company since the beginning and I think only has two wins against "stars". Riho and Anna Jay and the former was like almost three years ago.

Epic feud against Toni Storm not for the women's title, about who has the best butt.

If that is the case, it will make Jamie look like a total doofus. When the break up/split happens (and hopefully not by 2025), it has to be Jamie that turns on Brit and you get the big Batista like moment of her finally seeing through all of Britt's BS. In general it needs to be more like when Batista turned on evolution and less of when evolution turned on Randy.

Personally I think Britt should help Jamie win the title. Jamie is unhappy she interfered and go from there. Eventually Jamie either turns against her because she keeps cheating or as a pre-emptive strike. Either way gives it a relatively unique spin and would give Britt something more interesting to say being genuinely agreived it had happened and the crowd sided with Jamie. She's better playing conspiracy victim than burying everyone on the mic.
