The big thing about celebrities in wrestling is that they have to actually give a shit about being there. The problem with the Raw Guest Host era was that the celebrities they chose were very hit or miss. For every Jon Stewart or Hugh Jackman, there was a Kathy Lee and Hoda or Bradley Cooper. AEW has been really good about making sure the celebrities they get to come on the show actually want to be part of the show. Bob Barker was still the greatest Guest Host, and I don't think it was close I nominate Buzz Aldrin for the sheer “what the f*** is this” quality of it all |
