.....Probably shouldn't have made that claim after Emma's match with Ronda Rousey(which was very uninspiring)..... Emma wasn't the problem in that match or was Ronda Not trying to be smart or anything but if it wasn't Emma's fault and it wasn't Ronda's fault then whose fault was it? They were the only two people in the match.

Say what you will about Damage CTRL as a group but I have never seen them work a group as hard as "Diva Twitter". I won't link the tweet here, but there's a new accusation going around that Iyo and Dakota are worse in ring performers than Emma, and can only do three moves between them. IYO and Dakota likely have no f***ing clue what the hell diva twitter is and aint got time for that trash but have those people seeting is funny. Dakota's probably heard worse insults directed at her playing Overwatch.

They were the only two people in the match. It was obviously the invisible person's fault!!! No but seriously, the problem imo was almost entirely on Ronda. She just...isn't good as a heel. Or even as a face anymore. She just kinda sucks and if she is supposed to be holding onto the title until Wrestlemania next year, the SD Women's Division is in deep trouble. Her promos are back to being awful, and her in ring work has gotten incredibly mechanical.

The only problem I have ever seen with Emma is matches tend to slow to a crawl with her and it can lead to awkward moments where they are waiting on the opponent to make moves and get into position for things.

I haven't seen much of her since she left but I remember her always being pretty solid. Ronda really hasn't had many good matches in this second run though. Seems like she only really clicks with other hosses who can smack her around. Nia, Raquel, and I guess to a lesser extent Charlotte. The one botch with the roll through out of the ankle lock into the turnbuckle where Ronda just stopped and didn't hit the buckle looked more like it was Ronda's fault in that she didn't lunge enough into it. However the other botch where Emma got shot into the ropes and then it looked like they just kind of forgot what to do before doing an awkward Russian Legsweep spot too close to the ropes looked to be more on Emma.

That's kind of the impression I get with her too. Like technically she's fine in that her moveset is pretty good and her moves look good once she actually hits them (the wheel barrel suplex she did for example looked really good and is also a unique move you don't see much). However the transitions getting to the moves are real awkward and clunky. I know she's has a decent injury history so I don't know if maybe that has something to do with it. I don't remember it being an issue in say 2015 when she was on NXT and probably at her peak as a worker.

I don't mind, since my complaint was always more on the group itself just not being interesting, but imagine people are gonna be very civil tonight.

I think the problem is that Damage CTRL has looked incredibly weak and Triple H is doing himself no favors building up to War Games, unless they decide to go with a wacky stipulation like all of the titles are on the line in it, and they just do 3 v 3.

just goes back to my concern of how Damage CTRL will win beatdowns (and tonight even, Bayley kinda got a "win" by doing the suplex through a table), but lose when it actually counts. We saw that in full bloom tonight.

Honestly I'm mainly concerned about Iyo after tonight, she's been the pin taker for Damage CTRL in their last few losses.

If Bayley loses at the PPV, this group needs to disband because it Jey are DONE!
I also don’t know why they needed to have Iyo visually tap out, AND then get pinned in the end as well?

That was interesting. I do think they've been able to do a little more for Dakota as a character in terms of establishing her relationship with Bayley more, though even there there's possible seeds for the group's end with the team losing after Bayley was unable to intervene.

They both seemed to have no idea what they were doing.

The group just feels disjointed and they're either destroying everyone or getting wiped out themselves, sometimes JUST by Bianca
I wanna see Iyo vs Asuka but I feel like this feud has worn thin on all sides. Damage CTRL looks worse and Bianca looks so superhuman it's hard to get invested, especially in the fact she actually needs friends at this point.

If Bayley loses at the PPV, this group needs to disband because it Jey are DONE! I also don’t know why they needed to have Iyo visually tap out, AND then get pinned in the end as well? It's because either Triple H doesn't see the need to protect her (which is bad since she's one of the best women's wrestlers in the world but that only gets you so far, creative needs to help boost you up as well), or he doesn't like her as much as he claims he does. Which means its going to be incredibly funny watching NXT Japan flop next year because she's the most popular Japanese star WWE has over there by a significant margin, and no one is going to want to sign with WWE if they see Iyo not even being able to string together any clean wins against top stars. Like...I don't get the appeal of protecting Dakota, but not Iyo. Dakota is a solid hand, but she's never really screamed more than "gatekeeper to the upper card". Maybe I would be proven wrong one day, but yeah. Iyo has a significantly higher ceiling.

They got wiped out by Nikki who then immediately got beaten by Bianca, it was odd.

Nikki's entire involvement in this was odd, she beats both groups down, fights Bianca with her old gimmick back, then Bianca then gets attacked by Damage CTRL during the match, who completely no sell Nikki beating their asses a week ago, to try and help Nikki... and Nikki IMMEDIATELY loses, and is a complete afterthought for the rest of the night Like... this really is the kind of shit I'd expect from Vince, it feels no different, a complete bungled mess.

Yah, I think it’s safe to call DMG CNTRL a bust. It’s great than Dakota’s back, I’m glad Io resigned, but this partnership has been bungled from the get go. It hasn’t clicked, they’ve seldom looked like a threat. Just move on from it, and I think all three will benefit.
