I hate to say it, but with the sheer amount of complaining that goes on about every single thing that happens to this heel faction, I didn’t mind the loss. Bayley/Trish will be good. Iyo probably has a shot at a singles run after Mania. This thread hasn't been talked in for awhile I think them losing the belts they barely defended ever to Becky and Trish warranted the bump. This group really hasn't won much of anything since they've formed. There's a reason they're shit on, mainly their booking is shit on, this was HHH's first grand gesture of change and "His era", and he's swung and missed, multiple times. As for Iyo having a singles run? I'll believe it when I see it given she took the pinfall here.

My comment wasn’t directed at you bumping the thread.

No worries, I know it's been talked about, but there's a reason... they just haven't been booked well at all, they looked like idiots going into this match, and came out losers where they likely don't get the belts back or a Mania match either It's not been a great run for this group, even if they end up with pushes or belts after the fact, Damage CTRL has in fact been lame.

IYO go back to STARDOM please the sooner the better please. Nah, she can stay in WWE. Just get her free from being fed to Becky.

I really can't claim to even mind that they lost the belts since they never fixed what my actual problem with the group was in making this thread that the act itself sucks.

This group has just never done anything for me, even though all three are excellent talents. I don't think they have much chemistry together and HHH's booking doesn't help.

I wouldn't be shocked if she ends up in the next batch of mass releases which are inevitable after Mania at this point. There were rumors Triple H was disappointed in some NXT callups, and Iyo would probably fall under that category considering how much of a geek she looked like tonight. She got pinned by a woman who is 47 but moves like she is 72, and couldn't hit the vast majority of her moves properly. It's an incredibly bad look. That's putting aside the fact that now it's incredibly likely Damage CTRL is off the Mania card entirely, just so WWE can get a cheap nostalgia pop.

I don’t think they got help but I don’t think any of them have lit the world on fire. I honestly don’t even think Iyo has impressed all that much. Not to say they won’t separately, but it seems like they need to get them away from each other. Bayley had a weird response about it during her interview with Ariel. Like she knows they’re toast in this iteration but couldn’t say it. Just a reminder for folks - Bayley, though stale now, survived her face run flopping. Asuka, who people thought was toast, is back in a Mania title match. Things ebb and flow.

Really in the entire time she's been back I don't think Iyo's done much of anything to signify even why she should get a singles push. Even ignoring how rough the material around the group has been she really hasn't been bringing it in the ring.

It’d suck if Iyo and Dakota get bumped off the Mania card now.
I love Lita, but she took FOREVER to do that moonsault.

She definitely telegraphed either turning or kicking Iyo and Dakota out of the group.

Even as someone who has never really been a fan of this stable I did feel bad for them tonight with them having to job to and get beat up by Lita who looked so slow and out of shape. With how unathletic she looked I was genuinely concerned when she went to do the moonsault and was surprised she was able to do it albeit barely.
Looks like it's going to be Bayley against Trish and Becky/Lita against Ronda/Shayna. I know it's a horse that's been beaten to death for years but I'm really tired of these part timers showing up and taking Mania spots. It was bad enough with them men we don't need it taking over the women's division as well with Lita and Trish getting Mania matches every year.

Even ignoring how rough the material around the group has been she really hasn't been bringing it in the ring. I think the problem is they threw her into a tag team. Her entire gimmick in NXT worked well enough, but then they screwed it up (loner who doesn't need or want help). People forget how much fans were popping off when her and Asuka were throwing barbs at each other in Japanese. And instead of capitalizing on that...Triple H ignored it entirely. And now she's proverbially behind the eight ball. Because the main roster audience isn't going to care about her even if the group splits up. Because Triple H has constantly made her look like a geek, week in and week out. It doesn't help that they've had her lose to complete losers like Michin in four minutes either.

This would only be Lita’s second WrestleMania match in her whole career, but I get your point.

There was a spot in the match where Lita tried giving Iyo LA Knight's finisher, it looked terrible and Lita even had a look on her face like she knew she was bombing out there.

SRS thought the tag team match was so badly done that now even he's wondering if Vince is back in full creative control lmfao
