If he ever does I'm 100% done with AEW, so hopefully not.

I think it's very possible he could get a world title run, but I think he's very content being Sting's protege right now, and it's been working out for him
He's absolutely enough of an underdog and over with the crowds that he'd totally be a believable champion imo

He's certainly popular enough to. I don't know that he "needs" to, exactly, but if he did, I wouldn't be shocked or anything.

He's over enough that if they were ever in a tough spot they could put the title on him at any time, but generally I think he's fine where he is.

I could see him getting a run eventually. Dude is super over and great at what he does.

Booking-wise, yeah, he would just need a three-month build to get in gear for it.
As far as if he should, I'm probably with FinalGwen.

I can only recall him challenging for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship once, and that was during Moxley's first reign.
With that said, I could easily see Allin being a multiple time transitional AEW World Heavyweight Champion in the future, much like how all of Jeff Hardy's reigns as WWE Champion and WWE World Heavyweight Champion were between four-to-six weeks. I kind of feel like that will be Darby's future as a world champion, I can even see story lines of his reckless in-ring style being the reason why he's never "The Man" for an extended period of time.

Dude is over AF, has a great marketable look. Even if he's the underdog, his wrestling style is believable enough to where he can realistically beat some of the bigger guys without it looking ridiculous. Sure, he's not the best talker, but he doesn't need to be.
I don't see him ever getting an Omega-level title run, but I do see him getting a transitional run or 2 before it's all said and done.
