So there are the obvious names, Miz, Sami, Owens, Rollins, Sheamus and Lashley.
Guys who have ran with the ball over and over and scored more often than not, even if that ball was deflated.
On the women’s side, there’s Bianca, Rhea, Bayley, Liv and Asuka
Who else would you consider as the cornerstones of the WWE currently?
(Yes, I’m leaving Roman off the list, since he’s functionally a part timer)

I think in some cases it's less the top stars and more the guys with tenure. Fifteen years ago wasn't it like Hardcore Holly and Bradshaw, before becoming JBL, that were locker room guys? Not in a good way but I think they had a lot of influence over the locker room at that point.
I'd guess now it's the guys you named plus AJ Styles, R Truth, and Ziggler. Truth and Ziggler seem to be friends with most and are veterans who have had a good run. On the women's side I think Charlotte and Becky have to be mentioned even if they've been away.

Everyone seems to talk highly of Natalya, to the point it seems her unofficial role backstage is probably the main reason she's been around so long.

I like to pretend that there is a giant throne room set up between the men's and women's locker rooms and R-Truth sits upon it and gives his blessings to all wrestlers who pay a little tribute before they head out to the ring.

Let us all be grateful for how much better the locker room has been the last 10 or so years.

It's Lashley. Kathryn Bigelow even directed an Oscar winning movie about his business in the locker room.

In Truth's case he was around back in the late 90's too right? Were his K Kwik days late 90's or early 2000's? Either way he's seen a lot of guys come and go.

A lot of the women have referred to Bayley has a locker room leader And it's easy to see why. She's always giving the other women props and I know Alexa said she was one of the few (along with Charlotte and I think Becky) to help her out when she was starting out.

It's probably a bit premature but at this point I would consider Bianca and Liv the cornerstones for the women or at least they will be going forward. They're both in prominent positions obviously with both being champions now, are always around, workhorses who work high volumes of matches, seem to be model employees who are respected by management and peers alike. I know it's easy to say the 4HW just because of how good and successful they've been and I'm sure they are all respected but none of have been constants or mainstays the last several years as all four of them have spent a lot of times on the shelf for various reasons (injuries, pregnancy, walkouts, personal time) and to me a cornerstone is someone who is very important but at the same time always around. Like in 90's how Sting and Undertaker were described as the respective of cornerstones of WCW and WWF.
