What is going on with Miro? (Requests release?, p28)

It’s been three months since he was last on Dynamite.

Obviously the angle with the HoB fell apart but it’s so weird how he’s just not there, especially after being gone for so long with injuries.

With Punk and the Elite gone he’s perfect for a feud with Moxley or Hangman or, well, anyone. But nada.

From the video game gimmick to flashes of brilliance then nothing...I have no fn clue what is going on with Miro but I can say that I had grown really tired of him and Lana on WWE TV so it just sucks on all fronts as I was really intrigued by this seemingly fallen mercenary gimmick

He's one of those guys where you should be able to figure out something for him even when stuff like this happens.  It's really hard to invest in him as a fan when this pattern keeps repeating

Miro himself very much likes to do things slowly, and he's said as such. But yeah, sometimes he could stand to be a lil more aggressive and just say "give me stuff to do".

I could see him having a feud with Hangman as they're both kind of in limbo, or be Wardlow's next defense.

I completely forgot he was even a champion at one point until I started thinking about this thread.

There's doing stuff slowly and there's straight up disappearing for weeks and months at a time.

He's had injuries and he did some filming for something, but I don't know if there's a reason why he's not being used right now.

This seems to be a recurring theme with AEW.

They know how to do Step 1 and 2 with talent, but afterwards they got no idea what to do next. Not just Miro

Miro was injured, then he was filming a pilot, then the storyline for his return fell apart when House of Black crumbled and Malakai took his leave

Like it's not hard to see why Miro's stuff has gotten complicated or start/stop. I hope they find something for him to do soon though.

Each step with Miro was interrupted by something

Injury, filming stuff, Malakai and Buddy taking leaves of absence in his first storyline back

It sucks but Miro's been kind of a special case where I hope they work out a good storyline for him soon

IMO, “Rusev” was way more entertaining than “Miro”. Miro had some bangers here and there but overall his AEW run has been largely forgettable. Maybe he should consider going back to WWE IMO

Miro is someone I always feel I should like but there's just something missing. He can talk a good talk and his beat downs are fun, but when he has a big match they just don't match up and are always just a bit...flat? Not sure the best term but I don't know how else to describe it

Whatever about where his fortune's best lay, but for my money he's had pretty much the definitive TNT reign outside of maybe Cody Rhodes so he's had a memorable run. That being said, I'd like a bit of warning next time he's going to pretty much miss a year as a featured player.

He’s not wrestled on Dynamite in 3 months. That’s accurate. And not great. He’s way too talented to be the third in trios matches or just cutting promos in the ether.

No, he shouldn't. If you remember how his WWE run ended, his AEW run, even with the speedbumps, has been way better, and Miro himself has been presented WAY better

He also has publicly stated he loves AEW and won't go back, like last week.
